T2 and T3 are not connected. You'll need to exit and walk down to T3 and go through security there.

You are lucky to both ask this question and to get the correct answer. One huge nerve wracking experience for us when we didn't know about having to rescreen and nearly missed our continuing flight.

I think the long range plan, maybe 10 years or more out, is to connect those terminals, but there is nothing underway right now. Pity the OP doesn't have a departure from T2 as it is SFO's newest terminal with interesting restaurants/food vendors, shops, and a very nice Admiral's Club with self-serve soda and iced tea machines.

There's only a thin dividing wall and I really can't see why it shouldn't simply be removed.
