Ok... I don't get the interest in this program. It appears you can only earn 1-5 Swagbucks a day. To earn a mileage reward without spending money, it will take more than a year?

Yeah, it looks like the incentive is the $5 Amazon gift code, acheivable roughly every 23-30 days. A pretty easy easy way to build up the Amazon acct, but not really good in building up the mileage accts.

I have found that by using the site at least once a day will always get you a swag buck. I use swagbuck as a portal to sites that I wish to go to even if I know the address. I used it to come to flyer talk. In this way I always get a swagbuck by the 3rd search no matter what I'm searching. Sometimes Iwill get a swagbuck just for returning to the swagbuck site.
I also started getting $2 and $3 and $5 when I use the site more regularly. That is, in the morning and perhaps in the evening. YMMV
As for taking a whole year to accumulate enough swagbucks to get any miles - why not. If I'm searching the internet anyway, why not get something for it. I'm not paying for the miles, I;m not going out of my way and a mile is a mile is a mile. More miles good!

I used to think the same thing. However, I like because:
1. It's just easy. Who cares if I only earn 1-5 a day for doing searches that I'd do anyways. I don't do anything extra in regards to searches.
2. I've earned 250 through referrals
3. Video Games. I've found old video games and sent them in for Swagbucks for about 250. I have a total now of 642.
Warning: The format of your referral code has changed
Swagbucks is now using a new format for your referral code. I am not certain if the old format still works. Check your referral code on the Profile page of your My Account page. For example (completely randomly chosen, of course... ), my referal link is now http://swagbucks.com/refer/pgary
