Let's post successful Swagbucks codes here
Swagbucks pays bucks for searches and other stuff. Bucks are convertible to miles and other goodies. Not all searches produce bucks. Let's post the successful searches here, along with the number of bucks they produce.
Here is the conga and description of the program. If this thread becomes popular, perhaps it could become a sticky. I don't know how that is accomplished - probably by a moderator? |
Free southwest airlines credits 3 credits
Barclay 2 credits free advantage mile for one swagbuck 1 credit (Weird: "free aadvantage mile for one swagbuck" gave me no credit. But when I clicked on the suggested "free advantage mile for one swagbuck", I received the credit.) |
"Playstation 3" -- 2 bucks
Yee ha! Only 1,699 more searches like this for 5k AA. :p |
It seems to be completely random, I searched all the above and got nothing. When I first signed up, I searched American Airlines and got 1 swagbuck. So there aren't magic words that reward everyone who searches that word.

"guys and dolls" one swag
|
worked only for "guys and dolls" one swag
|
ATT Trimline Chorded Phone 1 buck
|
Has anyone gotten more than one "hit" in a 24 hour period? This morning, I got 1 Swag Buck on "Peru", then I sat there for an hour (while watching tv) and just kept clicking on related searches and got nothing.
Is this a pyramid deal? Like every time my referral gets a Swag Buck, I get one too? |
Guys, I think it's random.
Tiki, I get a couple a day. Each time you do a search off the home page, you have a small chance to get a SB. It is a pyramid, in that each time you earn a SB, your referrer gets one, up to 100. Mike |

sometiems other peoples searches work, sometimes it doens't. it doesn't hurt to try.
I'm up to 64 points. Hopefully, this site doesn't die off or change its rules before I cash out. It's worth noting that SB offers frequent flyer miles as a prize at an outrageously high exchange rate. Mike |

Nope, can't hurt, I guess. Nothing bad can come of it.

What's really odd is that the airlines have different prices on the miles.
1000 AS 825 SB 1000 AA 1150 SB 2000 DL 1180 SB 1500 US 1350 SB 2000 AA 1700 SB 3000 AS 1875 SB 3500 US 2350 SB 4000 DL 2360 SB 5000 AA 3400 SB 6000 DL 3545 SB 6000 AS 3680 SB 6500 US 3850 SB 9000 AS 5260 SB 9500 US 5350 SB 10000 AA 5700 SB 10000 DL 5910 SB They are all different and make no sense. It takes forever to accumulate them too, I am up to 23 after 3 days so at a rate of 7 SB per day, that's 2555 in a year. LSC is faster and more reliable now that miles are posting again, albeit after more elapsed time than before. |
Amazon.com GCs appear to be the best value for non-airline prizes at 45 SB for $5 provided you can get more than one. They don't have a higher valued card but 450 SB gets you $50 on Amazon.com if you can redeem 10 times.

Excited, I tried all the other terms mentioned in this tread. All in vain -- ZERO after the first success. |

usually i search once in the morning and then if i am on after work (around 6) i get something.
if you search any time in between, very little chance to get anything. |
arcus seals 2 credits
Pier 39 1 credit I am beginning to notice two strange things:

I better start getting increments of more than 1 or 2, every once in a while. I think I decided to earn a decent award and quit, unless they start accumulating a little quicker. |
I do the log in and log out thing as well. Also if you go to different computers and search a certain term, it'll give you another swagbuck, it's a hit or miss though.

From what I was reading on its website explanation... its a function of how much time elapsed since the last 'buck' was awarded... randomly calculated... so it might pay off to search late at night...
I don't understand how some people have gotten 100's of referrals from this though... Another way to get bucks is thru codes... so if someone finds a swagcode (or whatever they are called) please post if it works, and everyone can take advantage of it. The website says 2/25 is its b-day and 5 codes will be given out... so might be some luck today :p Edit: RATM just worked for 1 swagbuck  |

OAR [in all caps] = 1 swagbuck
|
Please lets distinguish between swagcodes and searches.
OAR did not work for me as a swagcode. To enter a swagcode, click on the big square that tells you how many swagbucks you have when you log in. This brings you to the My Account page. Then enter the code in the appropriate field on the right side of the page. |
I don't get the whole swagcode thing. How do you find them?
|
They're posting 'swagcodes' on their blog, twitter account, and facebook page.
They appear to only be valid for a certain number of redemptions though. |
Got 1! HappySwagDay
