How abou this... LSC will go away, when Microsoft doesn't think they need LSC any longer. Right now, I'm reading that LSC (via their games), is catching up to Google, yet the game play accounts for a large percentage of the searches. So for us, the best scenario would be Microsoft never quite seeming to win the search engine metrics game, yet still always wanting to play the metrics game (hence needing LSC game players to be incentivized to play).

Microsoft wants 30% of search share (the old GE - have to be number one or number two in each market segment) - http://searchengineland.com/071116-094847.php

However, their search numbers have been pretty flat to down long-term - although they were 9.2 last month (http://www.comscore.com/press/release.asp?press=2337), they were 12.3 in July 2007 (http://www.comscore.com/press/release.asp?press=1745)

Would prefer they do this stuff earlier, for the east-coast players.

72 Hours for AA

I just requested 2 new 2500 mile prizes for AA and received a reply that they from airincentives that they will post within 72 hours for one of my requests. I can only hope that will be true. No more waiting for weeks???? Odd I only got one notice from airincentives for 2500. I did get the the typical confirmations for both from Clublive.

I redeemed for 2,500 DL miles this morning and only received the standard LiveSearch Club message (17 days).

I redeemed two 2500 AA awards yesterday and got two messages from Air Incentives:

Dear xxxxxxxx,

You have received 2500 {LP} from Microsoft Live Search Club into your {LP} account. Your award is summarized below:

Confirmation Number:
Miles Awarded: 2500
Airline Program: {LP}
Account Number: xxxxxxxx

Please allow up to 72 hours for the miles awarded to be credited to your Airline account.

I also received the usual emails from Live Search Club. I'm wondering why it says "{LP}" for airline program.

Oh, and 'Confirmation Number:' was blank on both Air Incentives messages.

i haven't seen any miles post to my account since one redemption on 6/16 but the other one from that date is still missing. i contacted lsc about this recently and they added one more, the first one from 6/16, but i just did the math myself and saw that i am still missing about 5 redemtpions since then. should i contact them again or are they just really slow with posting delta miles this month and part of last month?

I don't understand how people are playing this much. A free trip to Europe?? Wow. I try and play occasionally to keep my various frequent flyer accounts active. However, when I've tried to accumulate any significant miles, I've wanted to claw my eyes out.

You only have 21 posts on Flyer Talk, so you obviously aren't obsessed with miles/free trips/status like some of us are. When you get to several thousand posts, you will understand.

By the way, I keep getting an error message saying "Connection Failed" when I try to play "Picture This" today. Is anyone able to get in to that game?

Same here. That game is the flakiest of all. So much for mindlessly accumulating miles.

Is it still possible to see the high scores, for everyone, in the games? I havent been able to find it in a while and I think I'm probably close to the limit on a couple games.

Has anyone received Delta miles that were redeemed on 7/1? the AA people received theirs last Tue, but not Delta... it's been 27 days already, wondering if I should email LSC.
