How Much Would One Sell It For.

wink wink
It'll sell for whatever someone is willing to pay for it...

On to the "great debate". If you remove all of the ethics debate, it's great to be a seller, and not so great to be a buyer. There's a high probability that the account will be wiped after a transaction has occured, as the account is really easy to track (how many accounts with 23842 miles have a home city of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania?)... so the seller has the money, and the buyer has access to an empty account. Given a quiet and efficient process, imagine how many miles the airlines could wipe, by promoting the transactions to take place, then wiping the accounts after the cash transaction has occured? Given the risks involved, and the high-visibility of eBay in general, this is a very-high risk event.

It's a Buy-It-Now auction, with Best-Offer option. 11 people have offered some amount of money, and it appears none have been accepted. We (not being the seller) have no idea what the amounts were.

The Word Slugger anomoly is still occuring, according to a reliable source. Told them that they have a few days, then the game will max-out.

In general, this is one of the best programs ever, to top-off accounts. I know of many people who are topping off all off their accounts to the redemption level they want to be at, and then just zeroing everything out via travel. There's a lot of people out there just a few hundred or thousand miles from a redemption. The FF game is changing, a lot of people are just short of having a meaningful balance, and this has been a great way to burn through some mileage.

Has anyone tried "Picture This." It seems like an easy enough game for quick points, but the points don't seem to post to my account. Has anyone else run into this problem?

I have played it. The points don't post visibly like other games, but they do show up when you refresh the home screen. At least for me that was how it worked the few times I have played it.

I guess that IF you reach 25k, won't get the gold status with AA?

Nope, only miles earned by flying count towards status (except for the very occasional exceptional promotion).

Well... do 25k another 39 more times, then you'll have lifetime Gold...

Even so, 10 points for 4 easy questions seems like a good use of time, relative to the other games.

I usually plug away at the Matt Lauer game while watching TV. It seems to take less time than the other games.

I have tried playing Picture This. It seems to go fairly quickly, and I think we could maximize the points on it if we would set a time for all of us to go to Live Search to play that game. Strategy is as follows:

1. We all try to sign in to the game at the same time. I would suggest we try to start the first time at 8:00CDT tomorrow (Monday, May 19th.)
2. On every choice of image, we all choose the one on the top left for each image as quickly as possible.
3. If you get a partner that is not doing the same, ask for another partner at the end of the game.
4. If you get a partner that does the same, choose to stay with the same partner.

Who wants to give it a try? Does anyone know the maximum number of points available on that game?

Hopefully we can get a few more to try so we can all "find a partner to dance with." I will give it a try at 8:00pm CDT tomorrow.

The idea is good, one I have had myself. I wouldn't be available to do it at that time though or I would join in.

On a side note, I was playing for the first time tonight in a really long time. It seems that the points value for playing that game has gone up since the last time I played. I would suggest that people who have tried "Picture This" and gave up due to low point value, try playing again as the points value has increased.

I have a strategy that if there are no clear choices than pick whatever picture is first. I always hope my partner will pick up and use the same strategy. It doesn't seem to happen much though.
