When does the daily clock re-set?

Does anyone know when the clock re-sets for the day for earning points? With Double points day tomorrow, you should be able to earn 2000 in the morning and 2000 in the evening?

Unlike years past, that strategy did not work for me on the last double day (w/i the past few months). I only got 1,000 bonus points even though I played in the morning and later in the evening.

It appears that Club Bing is still somewhat inconsistent in this. I just had a second 1K award post to a single FF# using a second Club Bing acct. YMMV, but it's enough for me to keep trying.

Update: Second 2500 just posted too. If you're willing to go through the hoops of setting up new Club Bing accounts with new e-mails, it looks like this gravy train is still live. As long as Picture This is still up, I'll keep playing.

It means, one can redeem/ claim only up to 4100 miles in total. This is ridiculous. None of their other prices have a good value for the time spent playing. What is the use of 4100 miles when you can not accumulate enough to redeem for a flight. I don't understand why microsoft has changed the policies regarding miles reward. It surely is a great disappointment for me.

Last year I was able to redeem enough tickets to deposit miles into my delta account in 2500 increments to by a domestic flight. But the recent policy change does not allow me to redeem miles in 2500 and 1000 miles. I have already tried redeeming but it does not allow me to do so saying that "You have already ordered this prize. Per the Club Bing Terms & Conditions, each household may receive a maximum quantity of 1 of each prize item.
Thanks for the update. It's not like we've been discussing this for the past 10 months or anything.

bing is a ripoff to those of us who have used it since summer 2008. the changes in the terms and conditions have significantly reduced the value of the points earned. best wishes to those of you who have been able to take advantage of it.

To answer the question, the clock resets at 7pm est.
I am bummed that they ran out of the Zunes that were on sale for 30000 points. I was 3 days away, not much selection left, and I don't need a telescope!

What's the current delay in receiving AA miles? I ask because I received some US Airways miles from Club Bing about a week ago that were redeemed about 2 months ago, and an AA miles redemption that was made 5 days later (e.g. early September) has not posted yet.

CLub Bing is a joke. For Microsoft to put their name to this inconsistent, user indifferent web site, shows how sloppy that organization is run.

Club Bing, Zune, Vista....

People Power?

I am sure that this has been mentioned before but if not then it needs to be. Are there not enough of us on FlyerTalk that can complain about how Live Search (Club Bing) or whatever you want to call it, has gone down the toilet. Are we not enough voices to at least have our opinion voiced collectively instead of not saying anything at all except complaining to each other more? Any ideas on what to do??

I have enough for the GPS but wonder if it is a decent unit. Can anyone who has the unit through Bing or otherwise comment on the quality of the device? I assume it is US only and likely not expandable to get maps from Europe?

They're starting to be a real competitor to Google. I'm pretty sure they don't give a sh*t about our input.

Don't bother emailing. Canned answer and no real response.

I got into this a bit late, but it appears to me that restrictions on some of their games, especially the best ones make the higher awards difficult. For example, with the best game, Discover the World, I crossed the bronze trophy barrier with 700 tickets and am now according to the website 521 tickets from a silver trophy BUT the game tells me I have played all the puzzles and cannot play any more. What absolute CRAP! Why do they have silver and gold trophies but no puzzles to allow you to earn them. Then there is the second best game, Prime Suspect. In that one any day I get around 50 tickets from there on it puts up an ''error'' message and I can no longer reach the game that day. Again, what absolute CRAP!

I have earned the 500 miles award, and with luck will finally get up to the 1000 mile award, but with their stupid game restrictions, reaching the 2500 level seems improbable.

Not that I'm even playing any more due to the fact they want your social security number now when you redeem more than $600 of prizes in a year ($600 by their valuation, not mine), however, what exactly is your metric for determining 'the best game' ?

'Discover the world' and 'Prime Suspects' will take you weeks to even get a BBQ set.

If all you want is 'as many tickets as possible' in the 'shortest amount of time', it's well established that 'Picture This' is the winner: 2078 tickets in 20-25 minutes (technically two accounts with 1039 tickets). The distant seconds are the anagram games (Chictionary, Word Slugger, Spelling Bee), simply because they can be automated to a degree.

If you want to know why 'Picture This' is the winner, just use the thread search tool for that term, and perhaps my user id as well. I've even provided instructions on this on a few occasions in this thread.

This year alone, 'Picture This' has given me:
4100 AAdvantage miles
XBOX 360
3 additional controllers
Zune
All the Zune Accessories
Sony Noise Canceling Head Phones
GPS system
Rechargeable Battery Pack for XBOX 360
7 XBOX 360 games
Toshiba DVD player
Microsoft Wireless 6000 Keyboard and Mouse
Telescope
BBQ Set
Kayak
Tent
Leaf Blower
...
...
and the list goes on, even got my wife the Rachael Ray cook books -- now if only she would make use of them and make me dinner once and a while...

I'm hoping to be able to cash out my remaining tickets next year without giving the SSN.
