2,500 Alaska Airlines miles - redemption request 1/31, posted 3/28.
Do I understand this correctly? I can never request the 2,500 Alaska Airlines award ever again but I can redeem the Alaska Airlines 1,000, 500 and 100 awards one time?
If I opt to redeem 2,500 miles again, I must select a different airline?

Actually, once you redeem a 2500 mile award with any airline, neither you or anyone in your household can redeem another 2500 mile award with ANY airline. This changed with a rule change for the program in December of last year that is now being sporadically enforced. Some people have been able to work around it with additional email addresses where they register a work address, relatives address or such, but you now would probably have to use the additional account to accumulate mileage on a different airline, and you would still probably be limited to one of each mileage award on the new account, although sometimes additional awards slip through.

I've never had to enter an address when registering for LSC (you must have an e-mail address, but it does not ask for a physical address)
I don't think they can check the mileage account address.
If you request a physical item as a reward, probably the mailing address applies
Just got back from a trip, so not sure about the exact dates, but thought this might be an important data point from a family member:
Redeemed 100, 500, 1000, 2500 AA in mid-Jan, which posted mid to late March from a Live Search Account that only had these 4 mileage redemptions.
This AA account address is the same as mine, and has had previous redemptions from a different Live Search account in late 2008. So, at least in this case the per family/address or per account limits were bypassed.
Ok - someone REALLY needs to explain this one to me.
I received 3 deposits of 2500 miles each. The redemption numbers do not match any of the redemption numbers I have logged. These were deposited to my Midwest Airlines account (which has enough for 2 tickets and any more are really wasted as I won't accumulate more). The redemption numbers are in the 415# range - this would be in a time-frame between 11/12/08 and 11/25/08.
I have a 412 redemption # on 11/12 and a 416 redemption number on 11/25. And inbetween there was that significant time where we could not redeem for miles at all!!! So I received 7500 Midwest Miles that I don't in effect need and actually never redeemed for. However I am still missing a ton of AA miles (WHICH I REALLY NEED!!!) from the December time frame. I did have some orders cancelled from after the 1st of the year, but still really could use those December AA miles.
But whose redemptions did I get for pete's sake????? Does anyone else have redemptions in the 415# sequence and what date were those from?
EDITED TO ADD: PLUS THEY TOOK THE MILES OUT OF MY ACCOUNT FOR THESE AGAIN - USED UP MILES THAT WERE ACTUALLY REFUNDED FROM LATER AA REDEMPTIONS THAT WERE CONSIDERED DUPLICATES!!! GOOD GRIEF. WOULD HAVE RATHER HAD AA THAN MIDWEST RIGHT NOW. And the miles deduction on club live show as 4/1. I'll never understand these guys. And of course now I don't have enough left for the Bobby Flay cookbook, LOL!!!!
The rejection notices I've received gave no clue as to which requests were rejected, so I'm none the wiser either. Makes it rather hard to try to chase them up, doesn't it?
If you have tracked your order dates & numbers, you should be able to go into your 'stats' and then see which dates are now 'missing' from the list. Those would be the ones cancelled.
At least you're getting rejection letters. After a crapload of days, I get this about three hours after I sent in an email about prize status.
Thank you for contacting Live Search Club Support. Our Technical Support Team has reviewed and evaluated your account(s) resulting in a cancellation of your prize order(s).
The Live Search Club identifies account(s) where multiple orders are placed for the same prize to the same household and/or where members are using more than one Windows Live ID to avoid restrictions or other limitations on Activities, tickets, prizes or the Program. These types of activities violate our Terms and Conditions and result in cancellations of prize orders.
Fine. Just return the tickets so we can order something our household hasn't earned then.
For the record, my submissions were after the new TOS. I submitted several 2500, 1000 and 500 requests in the hope at least a few got through. None did. Oh well....my PS3 could use a new friend (the XBOX) or something else like a copy of Vista. Total tickets MIA from 12/21/08-1/11/09...approximately 67,000.

Just to make sure, you're talking about club live tickets being deducted and refunded not really (airline) miles?
I obviously haven't been paying attention to the stickies, because I only recently discovered Live Search. I think I made a giant gaffe, since I redeemed for 100 miles for myself on AS, and then 100 miles for my husbands AA acct. That was before I read the part about only one such reward allowed per household. I now have about 2500 tickets toward my next prize, and hope I won't be drummed out of the corps for fraud or some such infraction.
Thanks to those who turned me on to Flexicon. I love that, but hate that I have to type in the verification letters sometimes twice in one game. Do they think I'm a Chameleon, or something?
I haven't read through all the pages...(I have to spend time collecting miles, y'know), but I find if I get the message that there are no more games, I've been able to switch to a different game. I sort of go back and forth between Slugger and Spelling Bee...and now, Flexicon.
