I got the same email for three different 1,000 mile redemptions, two of which happened before 12/19. So I ordered a 1 Gig Memory stick. Better than nothing.
My wife and I each had a 2500 mile AA award pending from redemptions on 12/30. Today we each received an email from LSC stating the following:
Yes, we each had 2500 mile awards prior to 12/19. No, we did not have any other 2500 mile awards after 12/19, although our daughter did have one redemption on 12/31 from DL that posted last week. So I can't definitively address the question of whether or not they are looking back before 12/19, or if we were disqualified due to our daughter's redemption. Knowing that she had 2500 mile redemptions prior to 12/19 as well, I will guess that it was her new award that caused our redemptions to be rejected. In either case, it looks like the restrictions are now in place and being enforced.
BTW, the tickets were returned to our accounts.
I'm disappointed, but can't really complain, as this promotion has been very good to us.
Looks like I'm off to pick up a cookbook from the prize closet...
Were these multiple LSC accounts going into a single FF account?
None of my missing miles, nor DH's missing miles have been redeposited. Nor have we received any e-mails regarding a redeposit. I still have an outstanding case from 3 to 4 weeks ago questioning missing miles (and more missing miles after that). Moderately tempted to try a Delta redemption - even tho my balance with them is zero - under the hope they might credit and potentially combine with my NWA miles as their merger progresses.
As a side-note, just received this e-mail regarding the Frequent Shopper program that had been discussed previously in this thread:
As an existing member of Frequent Shopper, we would like to inform you that the Frequent Shopper program will end as of February 24th, 2009.
The Frequent Shopper site will remain available until February 24th, 2009. Between now and February 24th , 2009 you will be able to redeem any credits you've accrued consistent with our terms and conditions. On February 25th, 2009 at 12:00 AM PST the program will no longer be available.
No. Her LSC into her AA, my LSC into my AA. (And my daughter's LSC into her DL.) Only the Delta redemption was honored.
If you think that your daughter's prior Delta redemption triggered it, how would they know that all three of you are in the same household? Since you don't even fill in an address or name when setting up an LSC account, the only way they would know your address would be if the same people redeemed for a physical prize from LSC that they had to ship.
do they retract already posted miles due to duplication?
ok, I got 2 of the "failure to post miles" notices due to duplication ("prizes are limited to one of each prize per household") letters today, except that my miles already posted to my accts. what do they do, go back and retract them? or is it a mistake?
do they go by the email address? or FF number? or name of FF acct? what makes something a "duplicate"?

In theory they would also know if they were able to cross-check the physical addresses tied to our FF accounts. I find that very hard to believe, but it's the only explanation I have right now. It seems like it would be a pretty big bluff for them to advertise "One prize of each type per household" with no way to enforce it. Why not just say "One prize of each type per account"?
Obviously this is all conjecture on my part. My experience demonstrates they are now enforcing the multiple redemptions rule, but we don't yet know exactly what triggers a redemption failure. My guess is that with AA Tuesday coming tomorrow, we may be hearing from a lot more people with good or bad news that may shed some light on this question.
Earliest redemption in my second account was 12/21. Still no love from AA. Maybe next week. Until then I'm still holding out hope and clicking away (this is like some kind of abusive relationship). Currently 36,000 miles in limbo.
Guess I'll see what's in the prize mall just in case.
Frequent shopper program ends and I'll be 400 points short of the Garmin Nuvi 360. That sucks.

are you redeeming from different LSC accounts to 1 DL account?
No, 1 LSC account to 1 Delta account and I also have 1 LSC account to 1 AA account. However, Haven't had any AA postings since last week which seems like the case for everyone.
Second straight week of no AA posting redemptions. Has anyone at all gotten any AA posting redemptions going back from last Tuesday? Seems like some are getting redemption postings from other airlines but no one has posted a successful AA redemption in the past two weeks.
