Lately I've been emptying my account and redeeming for 3500 (2500/1000)miles each day. I was hoping that I could sneak a few through before the LSC iron fist came down and redemptions were limited to one each. The "January 1st effect" if you will.
When I redeemed tonight, I got a the message "Points cannot be credited. Please contact airincentives@points.com". When I redeemed for 500 miles (something I haven't done yet), it went through. Even though the "redeem" button is there, it looks like the limitations are in effect.
I just hope all mine redemptions this last week come thought. If not, I hope to hell they return the tickets to my account.

OK, my husband just maxed his LSC account for the 4100 miles to US, so I guess it's time to let my kids have a go! He did not attempt to claim over the max reward, he just got his 7350 tickets and quit. I'm leaving my own LSC account alone (credited to AA) for the time being as it would be well maxed out as far as mile redemptions.

Don't write too much into this. LSC->AI interfaces randomly fail, with the usual fix being... wait 5 minutes, and try again. Did you try redeeming again, for that LSC/FFP/miles combo?
The logical place to put redemption limits is the start of the redemptions process. LSC already has an "Achieved" status, for awards. So they could use that to conditionally put up an icon, that prevents anyone from even starting the redemption process.

Good call. I tried for about an hour to redeem for another 2500 with no luck. When I tried this morning, it went through.

Tomorrow should provide some interesting info on if AA is still receiving multiple redemptions after the T&C changes have taken effect. Fingers crossed that we're all very happy tomorrow at 2am (est).

No DL miles from 12/7 today. I was really hoping they'd make it in before the new year to count in the imfamous promo. Oh well. Not much I can do about it. I just wish LSC would get this all sorted out. Guess they never imagined nuts like us playing just for the miles. But hey, it's something to do.

Is there a trick to get "Chicktionary on Ice" to work? The game comes up, with just a "Single Player" and "Rules" icon (which don't work), and the two chicks with moving head and eyes. Yet the game never loads. Cookies and history has been cleared. Is there a trick to getting this new version to work? Erase the old Flash game? Reload Windows? Thanks!

So what exactly is the verdict on using anagram solvers for a game like Chicktionary, provided that you enter the results manually? Does Microsoft consider that cheating? Technically it's not an automated way to play the game, as you still do the data entry yourself.
Have those who used anagram solvers successfully redeemed miles?

Chicktionary on ice works fine for me but I am not using my normal account.

I think everyone here HAS to use an anagram solver, many of the words in a typical puzzle aren't words you would use normally and I never heard of half of them: entia tinea tenia......
I don't think it's any different than the old fashioned way of using a dictionary and much faster.
I type them in manually but lately I have noticed if I type too fast, usually on the three letter words, they throw a Captcha at me in the middle of the puzzle which is really annoying. I am not even a speed typist, maybe 40-50 words a minute.
Funny, Christmas was last week, New Years is in a couple days and all I can think of is AA Tuesday!

The data pool I'm working with is very large, and the only common denominator appears to be previous play of the previous version of Chictionary. Do you have to wait a long time for something to reset, the first time you play On Ice?

I am so amazed at y'all. I have just recently tried this and am so excited because I have racked up about 250 points in the past hour or so. How do you guys rack up like 7500 points in one day?
