Word that HA posted from very-late 10/31 (too late to get refunded, too early to call 11/1). It sounds that redemptions are now posting, just around 11-12 days late. Is this good enough news for everyone?
Anyone remember the last time this happened? Some redemptions were refunded, some were delayed. Prizes came back later, then came and went, sometimes would redeem, sometimes wouldn't, then came back for many months. Now prizes are here, haven't changed value to redeem, come and go, and now we're starting to see postings again.
C'mon, everyone. Relax. It's going to be a great Black Friday, and Xmas month.

It believe it works something like this: Air Incentives aka points.com has direct/full access with some airline companies. Posting on those airlines become visible the second they're doing it, e.g. YX, US, F9, HA. Other only process those postings in batches at fixed dates, e.g. AA every tuesday, DL monday and thursday. You wont see any AA miles on your AA account before next tuesday, even if they have processed today.
Received an e-mail today stating that my miles posted for US Air today. Submitted on Nov. 9. I have never received an e-mail before telling me that my miles were posted. LSC sent the e-mail.
Whooooooohoooooo Just redeemed 1800 points for 1000 AA miles and I got the following message: Congratulations! Your mileage deposit has been submitted.
I'll have to wait until monday for my miles to post then. If anyone has any DL miles posted let me know!
I just had this air incentives reply from a e-mail I sent them long ago

Reason: got air incentives e-mails
OK - stupid question time......Since I have no desire to go back through 436,000 pages of posts that I have read thru at some point.......
We can only redeem two times per week? Is that correct? So it could be hard if the 2500 mile redemptions don't come back as we could earn 7000 points per week, however, only redeem 3600 miles. Am I looking at that correctly?

I don't remember seeing that anywhere and don't think that they put a cap on the number of redemptions per week. A post a while back mentions something in the T&C about only 1 of each prize per household.
Personally, I just redeemed for miles and I'm not planning on playing again until some miles start posting.

Okay, I'm willing to answer your question, but please do not call it a stupid question. There is really no such thing.
Now, I think what you're remembering involves the maximum number of points per day, which is somewhere around 1000. I say somewhere around 1000 because if you start a new game at 999 they will give you the points you earn for that game. But for the sake of simplicity, let's say that the maximum is 1000 per day.
Since the 2500 miles reward requires 4300 tickets and you can only earn 1000 points per day, you can only cash in for this award every 4.3 days. That's less than 2 per week.
This was discussed quite a bit in this thread, so I'm sure that is what you are thinking of.
Also, just to update everyone, as of 2 a.m EST the 2500 mile award is back.
