miles are back but so far only the 100 for 250 tickets. However when I try to redeem now it does not go through guess I should wait till morening and try again.
Maybe someone would be willing to write a quick FAQ post and we could refer people to that post or modify the first post that contains things like...
- you can earn a max of 1k points a day or do 999 and another game to get 1019/1024
- this game or that game is the quickest and easiest way to accumulate points
- you should redeem points in such and such fashion
- air mile redemptions were taken down on a certain date but a certain site says they will be back soon - don't panic
- Delta has a promotion expiring 12/31 of double miles
Sorry, but anyone who knows that much about LiveSearch is probably too busy right now maxing out on points each day for all their family accounts to be able to take the time to write up a FAQ.
Once again, for the newbies, the system issues happen now and then, maybe 3-4 times per year. While there are no guarantees, LSC usually comes back in a week or two, this is normal, they restock prizes often and have puzzle problems just as often.
Be patient.
Also, no one expects anyone to read all of the pages in this thread. If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask away, there are many nice folks around here willing to assist.
Pay no attention to the negative responses to questions.

Last time this happened, didn't the prizes come back in groups, then we had to wait for LSC to get the interfaces working with AI? Presume that by the end of the day, the prizes will be cleaned up, and redemptions working today/tomorrow.
Then let the DL redemptions begin!

Still only the 100 mile redemption listed.
Suggestion: you might want to not redeem for more miles, until either accounts are refunded points, or miles start posting to airline accounts. Let's see that LSC and AI interfaces are all working properly, or points refunded, before adding more LSC points to the mix.

I have a feeling the game is over as far as multiple FF redemptions--
Maybe we'll all get to squeeze in 1x 2500, 1x 1000, 1x 500, and 1x 100 per FF account (if they ever come back)-- but if they stick to whats written, we're done after that.
They could limit this to a per account thing for airlines miles, but how would they know any per address limit if you've never had them ship any prizes to you? As far as I know, when you register you only put your zip code, no address.
They could limit per IP address, but that has holes as well, with many people using shared public computers... In fact, a couple of months ago I needed to use a local computer at our library.
Wanted to check something on MSN live, so I went to sign in on one of the many computers there. Someone else's log in name was already there via a cookie. Hmmm. So I went to another computer. Same thing, different log-in name. So it looks like a lot of people who can't afford online access at home may be playing games at libraries, etc. for all the prizes.
They probably won't truly be able to limit prizes until they require complete name and address info at sign in.

I actually asked them about that very thing long ago, I did get a personal response at that time and was told this does NOT apply to miles awards....now, I am assuming that the terms and conditions have not changed in the last few months....so no worries....hopefully.
...however it looks like someone said a few posts back that the T/C were updated recently...so let's wait and see
