I just logged in to redeem for some miles.....That option is not even showing up for me. Does anybody else have that option? Does it come and go?

There is a 1,000 point daily limit? Any other sorts of limits?

Yes. Its been answered here hundreds of times. Once you hit 1,000 tickets you cannot start another game & earn points from it. ie you can earn 999 tickets, start a new game & finish your day with either 1019 or 1024 tickets.

Based on the fact that you can write English, I'm guessing you can read it too. Take 2 minutes, scroll through some posts from the last few days...

First, wrong thread. 2nd, no one has gotten a confirmation email from Delta.

The attitude isn't necessary but understandable. So many questions get posted to this thread that are already answered / discussed.

While it's implausible to expect people to read this thread from start to finish, both reading the most recent couple of pages and doing a search of this thread only would prevent repetitive posting of such questions. And then the thread would be shortened with the absence of such posts.

I'm sure it's been answered hundreds of times.

But it's nearly impossible to search all 150+ pages of this thread to find anything helpful.

Thanks for the info in the meantime.

Makes no sense why it's a sticky. If you're gonna stick at the top of the forum, put an FAQs thread there or at least something useful...

Just go back to the enrollment page and enter all the information again. If you're registered, it will tell you that you've already registered. If you weren't registered before, it will tell you that you are now registered. Win-win situation.

I'm just seeing this thread recently as well and seeing 150+ thread pages is daunting. I bet there would be a lot less questions if the first post was updated like a wiki. someone seeing this thread for the first time recently has no idea that on page 126 someone asked a question about chicktionary. also, some of the information in the earlier pages is now outdated and incorrect.

Maybe someone would be willing to write a quick FAQ post and we could refer people to that post or modify the first post that contains things like...

- you can earn a max of 1k points a day or do 999 and another game to get 1019/1024

- this game or that game is the quickest and easiest way to accumulate points

- you should redeem points in such and such fashion

- air mile redemptions were taken down on a certain date but a certain site says they will be back soon - don't panic

- Delta has a promotion expiring 12/31 of double miles

I nominate terockwo. But I am new here. There are probably other candidates as well.

If you are running Vista - my last PC was purchased in 2002, so I needed to upgrade - you can just mute Firefox without impacting audio on other applications in the regular sound "mixer" application.

It seems even buying miles & transferring miles count. As said in the webpage:
Shopping and Others:
1-800-FLOWERS.COM; Aquasana; Bose; Bosley; Buy/Gift Miles; Clear; DHL Express; e-Miles; e-Rewards; FTD.com; getAbstract; Gourmet Center (Biscoff); Hartmann Luggage; Hartwick & Grove Wine Merchants; Java City; LATHER; LimoRes; Network Solutions; Organic Bouquet; Organic Style; Samsonite; SkyMall; SkyMiles Clothing Care; SkyMilesShopping.com; SkyMiles Shopping UK; The SkyMiles Store; Teleflora; Transfer Miles; Vinesse Wine Clubs.

This is crazy. You can transfer miles back and forth and the cost is only 0.4c/mile.

Figures. Late comer who just reached 4,300 tonight and then saw miles aren't available. Much thanks to the many here for reassurances about their potential return.

We're Sorry!

The Live Search Club site is currently down. Please check back soon to play games using Live Search, earn tickets, and win prizes!

This actually hasn't happened for a while, has it? There's been plenty of 4:30am maintenance reboots, yet not a full-out unavilablility period for a few weeks?

Think positive thoughts!

I've thought for a while that the first post should be made into a wiki. Can the current FT back-end support the wiki feature?

edit: site was playable again about 5am.

I concur. While Thursday night is the regular maintenance window apparently, it's been at least a month since I've been forced to find something else to do during my bouts of insomnia.
