Right. For something that's been basically free, time commitment notwithstanding, many have probably earned enough for one or more premium international tickets. The value of that is unbelievable for a little bit of time playing games each day.
So I won't shed a tear the day this eventually disappears, whether that's sooner rather than later or not.
5000 AA miles posted today, but I wanted to redeem for 5000 more, and can't. I must have gotten my 2500 DL redemption in yesterday just under the wire. Guess I'll have to wait for a bit. Maybe they'll introduce a 5000-mile awards for, say, 8200 tickets. Wouldn't that be nice.
On the good news side, I can now fly to Japan in first class, if I so choose and seats are available, and it's all due to LSC. That's a pretty hefty benefit.
Hey I'm a reasonably new member and just came across this thread for Live Search to get points/miles for prizes. But reading through some of the thread pages it looks like the promotions are ending or becoming devalued.
Since there's no updated OP or wiki can someone fill me in on the current situation with this since there are over 170 pages of thread?
Is it worth it for me to sign up now and start to play the games/searches to collect points or can you no longer redeem for miles for US Airways for instance?

Welcome, every now and then LSC will change things around a bit, and it appears they are doing that currently. Usually everything is back and running in a week or so.
Every few months, this happens.
No one really knows what goes on with the LSC tech people or when things will come back, but based on past experience, things will be back soon, maybe some different prizes, but maybe not, maybe even some different games.
Only you can determine if it is worth it to start investing your time in this right now, for me personally, I am holding off for a day or two as I have redemptions hanging out there that have not posted as of yet.

The online prize catalog does not show any of the milage awards, electronics, KitchenAid products, or XBox. I sure hope LSC isn't coming to an end...I have earned 35k on AA since August and still have 5K pending and 3400 tickets in my account. Hopefully they'll work this out!
Became concerned when the "hard" prizes like the camera, kitchenaid mixer and xbox disappeared. Now, with the miles gone, we are gritting our teeth and hoping this comes back...for a while at least.
Wouldn't expect this to be around long, if it does come back, as it looks like Microsoft will be able to pick up Yahoo for a song, and with advertising spending falling off a cliff this program is probably going to be a real loss leader for them, and in the end Bill Gates probably wants to keep some of his money...
Don't think the x-mas season has anything to do with prizes, etc. They are not a shopping site, but a search rewards site.

Miles have historically disappeared from time-to-time. Last night, I donated my remaining points to the American Red Cross - LSC helped me quickly reach my mileage goals on both AA and DL but I have new pressures on my time.
I have been around for awhile and banked plenty of miles thus far, this has happened several times going well back into last year. I am not concerned....yet.
Relax folks, while there are no guarantees with LSC and the future of the site, however, this does happen frequently.
Give the site a week or more to rearrange things. If they were going to discontinue the site, they would announce it and give notice.
As long as we are allowed to continue to play games and earn tickets, my guess is, the prizes are being restocked.

My wife requested three sets of 2500 AA miles on 10/28, 10/30, and 11/01. Today her account shows two credits. How does one tell which credit goes with which request? All the statement shows for the "Transaction Decription" is "AADVANTAGE --AIR INCENTIVES". I think this proves that requests made as late as 10/30 have been credited, though if either of the first two credits is the one that hasn't shown up yet then it would mean that the 11/01 request had.
Also, I note that the two entries are dated 11/12 and 11/14, but I'm pretty sure I checked the account at the end of last week and they weren't there at that time. Is it usual for credits to be dated before the day they actually become visible in an account?
I have my fingers crossed for the third credit -- that's the one that'll take the balance above the threshold for a TransAtlantic flight.

That's correct. Or you might get a email from live search saying your prize has been fulfilled that has your confirmation number that you can match up.
I've noticed that sometimes I get my "your order has been fulfilled" emails, but other times I don't. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. Oh well - as long as my miles post, I'm happy.
