I think that it really depends on how quickly that you max out a game as to how many points that you max out at.
One day it could be one amount, the next day it could be a different amount. With Flexicon, I have seen several of the same games back in the rotation quickly with only a couple of different changes to the game.
After a few days, I've officially given up on Flexicon. I'm better off creating a new account and replaying all the word games. Eventhough they are much more typing intensive, at least I can points pretty quickly. With Flexicon, while I can solve the puzzles fairly quickly, the numerous times I spend either
1) moving the window back from the bottom where the searches are back to the top where the puzzle is or
2) filling in the captchas (where several may appear within the same game instead of once in a few games with the word games
I find Flexicon to be time consuming and frustrating.
That's strange. Although you may have already disclosed the amounts you maxed out on Flexicon for yourself and wife, would you mind posting them again? I maxed out at 35,499, and I know I completed every possible puzzle I was given except for the one that was broken.
Exact totals:
35,499 for me
35,549 for my wife
Maybe it's her cute smile...
It's interesting that the 50-point differential is the precise equivalent of two 25-point Flexicon games. It's not some in-between number that might indicate a game was completed for less than the full number of points.
This was part of the reason for my earlier question about Matt Lauer. I was trying to understand if the max out was based on a maximum number of games played, or a maximum number of points that can be earned, or perhaps some combination of the two.

Perhaps one completed two games after reaching the daily limit but not noticing? Once I get near the daily limit, I start looking at the main screen sporadically to check my point balance.
BTW - I've taken to doing three Seekadoo puzzles each evening - that allows me to earn 1,020 points a day.

i was thinking about doing the same thing. i can get my daily max in about 45-50 min with the word games. flexicon is taking twice as long.
btw, delta miles just posted from a 10/27 redemption.

I haven't seen anyone post a 'solution' to #1, but I've found it happens rarely, if at all, when I use Firefox. But, of course, you can't earn points by using the LiveSearch toolbar with Firefox. If you do get sent to the search part of the page, clicking near the top of the window and hitting the PageUp button gets you back to the game pretty quickly. Also, don't enter each answer as soon as you key it in, as this increases the number of times your view gets moved down to the search area -- but note the next paragraph as well.
As for captchas, I find I get them only if I try to submit more than four answers for searching/checking in quick succession. I can click four times quickly without a problem, but five times invariably brings up a captcha. So I click four times and pause before clicking more. You might try and see whether this works for you. It may depend on internet connection speed, so you may find your trigger number is not five. If so, let us know what yours is.
I presume connection speed also affects how quickly games can be played. I use anagramssolved in one window when doing that sort of game in an adjacent window, but there's no way I could achieve the speeds reported by others here. I know it's partly because I still like to play the game a bit and see what I can think up myself rather than just copying everything I see in the other window, but even if I did just copy I couldn't do nearly as well as some others do.
It has been a long time since Live Search Club has had a double points day. I think we should all send them an email requesting that they have another double points Wednesday. Does anyone have a good email address that we could send a request to?

That's because you're not cheating at Flexicon similar to the way we all seem to cheat on word games. (Well, the debate about whether an anagram solver is cheating is not the point of this post.) Flexicon can be done in a bit under an hour if you look up the answers.

yeah, i used to finish in about an hour to an hour and 15. but lately, its been lagging a lot for me. and then of course, there's the issue of having to scroll back up after checking answers. finding answers hasnt been the issue, since theyre really easy...and most are repeats too. i'll probably continue playing it since i'll max out in a week or so. then i'll create another account.
I just noticed tonight (around mid-night) that my 2 accounts (one feeding to delta and one feeding to aa) have been given "back" one redemption point of (4300) for each account, and I checked the my account section for the redemption history, seems like for my Sep redemption on Sep 20 and Sep 21 (which happened to be my first two redemptions and I saved a copy of confirmation) are gone from the lists! Wondering anyboby else has the same thing happening to your account? Certainly don't think I end up something for free and hopefully I am not loosing all the points I have earned
I just found about 4300 extra points (can't tell if they were exactly 4300 but seems to be), but all the prices I claimed are still there. No complains at all
EDIT: My miles were credited in AA early last month, but you're right, the entry on sept 20 in the prizes redeemed list at club.live is gone. Again, no complains
