I wish that we didn't have a maximum of 1,000 tickets a day. The most that I am able to acquire is 1,024. Anyone able to get more with one account??
Nope. A while back, when the limit was closer to 1800 tickets per day it seemed to be some combination of time maximum or ticket max. (there were a few times I got north of 2000 tickets in one day)
Now the MSN software will let you start a new puzzle as long as you have less than 1000 tickets for the day...997, yes...998, yes....999, yes....1000, no.
Which is why you can get up to 1024 tickets. (start a new puzzle at 999, get 25 points, end at 1024)

I've taking to availing myself of the knowledge of the reset time - only have to play every other day (1.5 hrs before and after reset time with a small break in between) to maximize points.
has anyone been able to play over the past 12 hours? Everytime I go to log in I get the error claiming the site is down or something....grrr...I need to get my tickets for today!!!

You are forgetting the Live Search Toolbar. It's the only reason I load up IE on any given day - 10 searches = 10 max tix a day, even if you've already earned your 1024 playing games.
So 1034 max per day per account as far as I can tell.
ArizonaGuy, that's great info. Do the searches count toward your total if you don't yet have 1000 tickets? Or is it tracked completely separately?
Thanks very much!

Tracked separately, it seems. I would assume if you earned the 10 first, you'd still be able to earn the full 1000 from playing games.
I can't say with certainty because it's usually an afterthought - I go open IE after I've earned my 1000 points (I rarely go over 1000 since I earn all 25 / 20 playing one game repeatedly). So I get 1010 a day. Live Search Toolbar shows under my stats. I've earned a whopping 190 tickets off of it, I don't do it daily. On the grand scale, earning 3650 tickets off that annually isn't much.

Yup, before the reduction in tix/day you could straddle that clock reset time and nearly get one 2500 mile redemption. (High 3ks to low 4ks for 4-6 hours of time...)
Do you need a specific card or affliation to redeem the tickets?
I don't have any CCs or anything to the gist of that and I'm trying really hard to get the 2,500 flight miles?

fgsfdsyo - welcome to Flyertalk - no you don't need any card just need the appropriate Frequent Flyer program membership of course - just play the games and then deposit the miles into your account.

Has anyone on here ever pursed a non milage reward at LSC? With Christmas gifts in mind, I'm thinking of holding off on miles and saving up for either the Kitchen Aid mixer (34k) or an X Box 360 (55k) and of course several recipe books. The LSC FAQs state that MS pays for shipping, but I was wondering about how long it takes. Cheers.

I redeemed a Canon camera on Aug 29, and it arrived on Sep 15 through UPS.

The delays on hardware can range from 2 weeks to 6+months. There seems to be absolutely no pattern to their shipping, and people often get prizes long before others that ordered sooner.
On an unrelated note, if you haven't noticed the prices of hardware items has been going up quite a bit, so I would not hold tickets for longer than you have to. Miles might become more expensive in the future.
