AA Tue!

Word around the water cooler says these postings appear to be for redemptions from (late) Aug13 to Aug17.

I got 100 miles posted from Aug27 and guessing from posts earlier it seems like AA works out 2 weeks + X days to the next tuesday.

I love the Flexicon, however, if I can pump up a couple of days a week with a full 1000 points on the word games in an hour and a half that would be great.
I use this anagram solver:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/adam.bo...gramsolver.htm

I can't view the page at work, but the URL looks right and I'm pretty sure that's it.

I size the Chicktionary/Word Slugger/Bee Game (is it called Buzz Word? I don't remember!) to fit on the screen so I can see the words from the solver at the same time and I type them super fast into the game. It takes me 60-75 minutes to get 1,000 tickets.

I haven't redeemed yet, though. Sometimes I get ADD with the games. I try to force myself to do the anagram thing for an hour, but some days I'd rather just read a book. I yell at myself because I'm sure I could be close to a free flight soon. Oh well!

If they had bejeweled...I'd be all on that! Or if runescape earned me FF miles!

I do agree with the ADD part. It's so hard for me to get the time do this and I really need it. I can't access the site from work so I have to try to fit time in (uninterrputed) when I get home each day. Hard to do. I need a good proxy server.

A quick question. Miles earned from LSC are not counted as EQMs, right?

Smile The power of numbers

Fellow FTer's.

Sorry to interrupt the "AA Tuesday" postings, but I have a thought.

We all know that the power of numbers is that many people can do more than just one person.

And even though we may not want to admit it, there is more to life than just miles.

Here is my idea. You all know that one of the prizes from the ClubLive program is donation to charity. If we band together as a group, we can make a big difference in the fundraising for some organizations. I propose, on a voluntary basis, that we each try to donate 100 tickets ($1) each week to a charity or group. If we get 50 members to do this, that's $50 for the group.

Anyone who has a school, group or organization that is non profit can suggest we donate to their cause. I suggest we change the recipient each week, and I have set up blog at http://letsclicktogether.blogspot.com to post the recipient each week.

If you want to join this effort, great. Just check the blog for the group of the week and donate 100 tickets. Or more if you chose. If you don't want to join in, don't. If you have a group you would like to see get the donations, please PM me so that we don't clog up Flyertalk.

Together, we can make a difference.

PS - If you do join in, please vote on in the survey on the blog so that I know others are interested in this plan.

Thanks.

I need to check my redemption dates but I was expecting 1-2 postings of 2500 miles today that didn't post. I wonder if they are a little behind or if I submitted them later than I thought.

My redemption from 9/2 didn't post. I guess it'll be next week then.

Just redeemed tickets for 2500 DL miles.

Haven't redeemed in a while, so I was surprised to see that not only did the confirming e-mail come to me, but also to someone at airincentives.com. First time that has happened in my records.

Wonder if LSC will last long enough for me to make MM, just finish ~10%
