I don't think anyone posted the Hawaiian posting timeframe. I ordered miles on 8/20, and received them on Tuesday 9/4.

Maybe not that many people are posting to HA. Anyway, same here - I posted a thing in the Hawaii board. I redeemed an award on 8/21 and they posted on 9/4. That seems to be pretty fast compared to most people's experiences.

I am curious... why do people redeem the lower mileage awards at higher per mile costs?

I am only redeeming for the 2500 mile awards.

Another 2,500 for Delta credited today.

As far as the "why redeem at lower levels"? It may be to gather just enough miles to top off an award level in a program a few days more quickly (or in AA's case, a week more quickly).

The 1000 mile awards are barely any different (1.8 vs. 1.72 tpm). I try to get as close to empty as possible, which usually means 1x2500 and 1x1000 per week. If I waited, I would get an extra 800 miles every 10k miles, but they could also stop allowing miles redemptions so I prefer to stay caught up.

Two Live Search accounts to one FF account?

What I want to do is regularly redeem one Live Search account for one airline and a second Live Search account for a different airline. I couldn't find a specific example of this in this thread, but then it's hard to find an answer among the hundreds of pages.

I've got my girlfriend playing the games during the day while I work.

I got at least one message in response to my inquiry that seemed to indicate that this was okay. I play one account on my lunch and the other at home, both aimed at different FFP. The lunch account hasn't had any postings yet, I'll report back when it does.

There should be no issue with that. Technically it's one account per person, but your girlfriend counts as a second person. And if she gives all of her tickets to you for redemption to your FF account, MS will not stand in her way.

I've gotten burned in the past by similar programs where I got near an award and then the award disappeared or the redemption cost more. I've redeemed 1000 FF miles since it is only slightly more costly per mile than 2500 and "a bird in the hand"....

I really need to get back to doing these... could use the miles to top off my account. Did a bunch for a while, then fell out of the habit...
