Thanks...

My last posting of DL miles was July 4. First redemption in line is July 15, so next week it will be time for me to e-mail LSC.

I appreciate the reply.

I have cleaned out my LSC account, all for Delta, so now I have roughly 10 outstanding orders, dating back 30 days.

I am going to work next on AIR INCENTIVES and the parent company POINTS INT'L LIMITED. I will post any progress made.

The three suspects are MS, DL, and AIR INCENTIVES. someone is clearly dropping the ball.

Strange new email

I just got a strange email from Live Search

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL

Dear Jaelle,

You have received 1000 {LP} from Microsoft Live Search Club into your {LP}
account. Your award is summarized below:

Confirmation Number:
Miles Awarded: 1000
Airline Program: {LP}
Account Number: ------- (my american account number)

Please allow up to 72 hours for the miles awarded to be credited to your Airline
account.

Sincerely,

Your Air Incentives Team

I never got anything like this before. Let's see if I really get anything in 72 hours - I highly doubt it!

Jaelle

I can tell you that AA works well (and others have received miles for programs like Hawaiian). This makes me think it's probably a DL issue (or DL / Air Incentives integration issue).

Have run out of Chicktionary, think I'm close to running out on Spelling Bee, and it's just hard for me to look at the Word Slugger screen . . .

I posted about this new email upthread, and no, I didn't get them within 72 hours. My AA miles are coming regularly every Tuesday, about 3-4 weeks after redemption.

I'm glad I'm not posting to Delta, although at first they were way more prompt than AA miles.

Hey that's mine! Send it back! Just kidding, out of five redemptions, I got a few of that same form letters.

I am sure that there is much more to this issue behind the scenes than we can see up front as end users. Not having any info whatsoever in regards to what's happening, is the frustrating part.

If they just came out and said 45 days or more, I could certainly live with that.

I am glad the AA people are getting funded as that shows me the system is not completely broken.

Agree, ticket redemptions from 7/15 and 7/22 were posted today to my Delta account.

Things seem to be on schedule....

Also had 7,500 DL miles credit today - 5,000 "credited" on 31 July and 2,500 were "credited" on 4 August. Can't tell what redemption dates they were, as the confirmation number on the SM credits doesn't jive with the confirmation number sent to me as the customer.

Yes, I got my 12,500 DL today.

I did learn one thing today as I was firing off emails and rattling some cages. I think part of the slow DELTA posting problem may be compensation related...how quickly AIR INCENTIVES gets paid from DELTA. I have no proof yet, but am working on it.

Either way, I am happy that miles have posted for all, even though checking ONE BAG now costs more than most business class tickets, we are back in the game with our free (except for multiple fees) frequent flyer award tickets!

yipee!

Don't you mean one of the following:

* How quickly DL gets paid by Air Incentives, or
* How quickly Air Incentives gets paid by Microsoft?

Delta's not sending money to anyone in this chain.

Thumbs up

Absolutely correct, I was not paying attention to my writing.

The money goes from MS to Air Incentives the contractor. Air Incentives works for MS.

Correct that Delta has nothing to do with this.
