I'm comparatively new to the LSC, but the maximum mile earnings with one account is just around 17,500 a month (30,100 LSC points). I only use one account - I do have time constraints - but those who have been doing this for longer have probably earned over 200,000 FF miles on a single account.
All caught up on AA (through 7 July) with AA Tuesday - the five redemptions after that date were all DL (none yet posted).
I too play LSC when I can and just had my first 2500 posted to AA
How many hours a day do the heavy hitters devote to this?
Don't they work? Even if you play at work, you have to work once in a while
Don't they have a life away from the keyboard?
What's the secret to racking in the points?
I played a lot of Matt Lauer and Crosswire, but both show no more games as do all the letter games like Slugger etc.
What's the best game for the quick and easy points?
Programs: DL/NW Plat, BD *G, Hyatt Diam, Hertz 5*. Other programs: AA, CO, UA, Choice, HH, SPG, Club Cholula

Chicktionary, LiveWire, and Spelling Bee are how I spend my time. I would suggest throwing in some Matt Lauer if you haven't already exhausted all the puzzles (as I have).

unfortunately, im unemployed at the moment. so i play when im not looking for jobs, interviewing, etc. i can usually get 1000 points within 1.5-2.5 hrs, depending on what game im playing, so i dont have to devote too much time to it.
right now, on my main email acct, i spend most of my time playing seekadoo. too bad im out of puzzles on flexicon, crosswire, and matt lauer.
I played Flexicon until I exhausted the supply. Each game took 2-3 minutes on average. Crosswire is my second choice and Clink my third.
I rarely get to the 1000-ticket daily limit these days, so it goes slowly now, but I've already reached my goal of a trans-Atlantic award. Even if you only do 500 tickets a day, 4 days a week, that's over 100,000 tickets in a year, which will get you 60,000 miles.
I occasionally enjoy following the links that come up, and now I know lots more stuff. Most of it not useful, but maybe I have a future playing Trivial Pursuit competitively.

Chicktionary and Spelling Bee will definitely help one's vocabulary (and get lots of "definitions" from UrbanDictionary.com as results . . .)
Maybe someone can help: Every time I get close to finishing the baseball word game, it 'locks up'. Frustrating! Did I miss one of the rules, possibly?
Just started playing today, reached the limit quickly, even though I am typing one handed. Really like the Matt Lauer game because it isn't totally mindless.
I play flexicon frequently. Today, suddenly, the search portion of the word 'jumps' to the middle of the screen and you have to scroll up to continue playing!!! What a PIA!!! Anyone else having this happen? I finally just entered the answers without clicking the eyeglass until I was done, but it would still pop the search into the center of the screen occasionally and stall my progress... anyone else?? any solutions to this?? Thanks

I don't know if everyone else does this, but I play chicktionary and do all the words I know right off the bat and then when I can't get any more I punch the 7 letters into the official scrabble word builder. (it's the search on the right)

That's happened to me a few times. It only happens when the search result is showing pictures instead of text. It hasn't happened every time I played, but once it does, it continues for that session. Try logging out and back in next time it occurs. Maybe that will help.

Lifetime Gold on AA only 1 Million Miles! Rethink your goal, man.
Re Trivial Pursuit: What is the second highest mountain on Earth?
hmmm, PaulMSN, icurhere2, willdallas2003. How many miles have u redeemed from LSC alone? more than 60K?
I will try to redeem tonight and see what I get.
last bunch of miles just posted (AA). last ones redeemed 07/12.
I think I am at about 25k on AA and I have 5k redeemed on delta with another 10k due.

That gives you all the possible words you can make with those letters. I can get 20 points in about 2 and a half minutes that way.
If someone is going to use a site to help, than they should consider the one at www.anagramssolved.com. It has an auto fill feature that does the typing for you.

I thought of that tonight. At 4300/2500 ratio, it will take 1.72 million tickets to accomplish and I am about 100k or so towards it.
