Last year I redeemed some points for a $25 off cert for Budget car rental. While checking rates on their website this morning, when I entered the cert code I got a message saying the cert is only good on insurance rentals! Has anyone else had this same problem? Maybe I should post this in the Budget forum?

I redeemed for a ton of these, the one's that I have used have always been handed in at the beginning or end of the rental at the counter and they deduct the 25.00 at that point, I have never been able to redeem through the online res. system.
99% of the time, no problem, did get an obnox CS guy who decided it couldn't be used with any other discount one time so be prepared for any excuse not to use it if your CS rep is confused by it.

They sent my AA Admirals Club pass out much faster than I expected. I placed the order/redeemed the points on January 25 and received the pass in the mail today, January 31.

The 250 MCR codes from Best Buy Reward Zone appear to be sent on some kind of sweep. I say this because in the past hour both my spouse and I each received separate emails from BBRZ with codes even though our respective qualifying activities were several days apart.

so confused!
OK -- I'm in the dark here. I don't drink Coke, don't have the availability to pick up the codes, and so I am a complete noob here, but something I did caused two different 250 point codes to be sent from Best Buy. I input them at MCR, but when I tried to get the best Buy reward that the email (received only 6 hours ago) from Best Buy mentioned, they were "sold out." So, are there other travel or hotel points awards that pop up? I saw the $25 off Budget, but am planning mostly European rentals soon, and I figured they wouldn't work there? I could use Priority Club or Hyatt or Best Western or Hilton or SPG points, if they are an option. Anyone else have any suggestions for 500 points who will likely be orphaned?
I realize (too late) that I should have probably traded the codes to someone, but I didn't so..

Are you a member of the Reward Zone Dining Program? If so, did you have any dines in the past few weeks? The dining program is a RZ partner, and by earning RZ points, you would have triggered the 250 point MCR bonus for each dine. Or maybe you made some purchases through the RZ shopping mall?
You could use 160 of the MCR points to pick up 500 Priority Club points. The Best Buy certs, which I believe cost 250 MCR points, come and go, so you could watch for their return and try to scoop it up when and if they restock. There's also a $25 coupon for FTD.com that is 500 MCR points.
Unfortunately, many of the high-demand MCR prizes have disappeared during the run of the program, or been restricted to one per person.

Get 250 more and pray that Admirals Club one-day passes are back.
For those who have already received them, is the MCR account holder name filled in on the AA Admirals Club passes or are they blank? My father has enough points to redeem for a pass, but I am the one most likely to use it.

Only identifier on the card is a serial number at the bottom. No name field or mention of MCR. I see no reason not to go for it.

I'm getting one tomorrow. I thought that only PCR vouchers still worth the hassle on the MCR site, but this is a better value then five 500 PCR vouchers would be.
