I think Coke is just messing with us. The banner is missing on one of my accounts too. Maybe they will come back in time for Wednesday.

I noticed that on the homepage of MyCokeRewards, item #3 states that one can:

"Get 3 My Coke Rewards Bonus points for simply watching the video."

The video is a trailer for ABC's new show "V".

I'm not sure if everyone is seeing this on the main MyCokeRewards page or whether it's targeted. I've seen it before logging into MCR.

The 3 points don't post immediately--- after completely watching the trailer, the points show up the next time you log into your My Coke Rewards account.

Thanks. It looks like the offer could be targeted. It showed up for me, but not for my wife.

Click on "Pick Up Points" while logged in. All available to you will be listed -- Diet Coke for tomorrow and Series V until Nov. 3rd.

This limited double points day is an effort to re-activate some segments of MCR members who are slipping away from the program. It was put together to address a very specific goal and it not available to everyone. Our database knows which members are eligible, so only those members will get the Bonus Points. That’s why there was no heads up. These have been done a couple of times in the past where we extend an offer to a speficic segment of members that we need to affect. It’s all about “precision marketing,” but it’s also disappointing to other members when the word inevitably gets out like this. Budgets are pretty small at this time of the year and we couldn’t afford to offer this to all members. Double Points days cost a TON of money, which is why there have been smaller brands, single brands/packages, and some targeted offers. I know that’s not the answer you were looking for, but that’s the reality of it.

No love here -- on 3 accounts. Anyone have succeess on Diet Coke double points today?

Drat. Totally missed double point day. I drink tons of Diet Coke.

Has anyone heard that the program will be extended again? I thought they usually announced it before now. Maybe it's finally going to be over this year.
