I have read several of the posts and see that frequently there are codes available for $25 egift cards for $3. However, in my humble opinion I think the e-gift cards work better because the $3 offers don't always include the higher end restaurants. But e-gift cards can be redeemed for a certificate of equal to the value of the e-gift card at any of the participating restaurants from what I can tell. In addition, I don't usually see deep discounts for the larger amounts like the $50 certificates and higher but you can get the e-gift cards on a number sites fairly cheap.
I see that some have mentioned that E-bay sells a lot of the egift cards but I have also seen them on Amazon and Coupontrade.com I know that Ebay and Amazon have been around quite some time but has anyone used Coupontrade.com that can give an honest opinion?

I wound up buying a $100 ecard for restaurant.com on ebay for about $6. Worked fine.
BTW, does anyone know how to do a map search on restaurant.com these days? They want you to enter a zip code to search for restaurants. That's fine when you're home or in a major city, but if you're travelling to more remote areas and want to know if there are any participating restaurants, the map feature is MUCH easier. They seem to be hiding this feature now.
