Ebates scam

Would someone tell me if clickrewards actually delivers what it promises? I guess I'm never going to get my money from ebates

If anyone cares - below is a synopis of a LONG and rather discouraging correspondence with ebates.

Hello again,

Well the only conclusion I can come to is that you are collecting money from your companies as affiliates and then scamming your customers - this is really unfortunate as I had heard good things about your service.

Need I say your response has been underwhelming - first denying that I purchased through your website - then when presented with proof that the purchase WAS made through your website my credit appeared in my account for a day or two. It then mysteriously disappeared (shortly before your cut off date for sending checks out) and despite multiple letters to you it has never been corrected.

Rest assured that I am mad enough about your deceit that I will do what I can to make sure you do not collect money from other unsuspecting businesses that you promise to people like me and then keep yourself!

Sincerely,

A Very Very Disappointed Customer

I see now, but the tone of your message made me read it as ClickRewards was somehow related with Ebates ... my fault.

ClickRewards has always delivered for me ...

I never had a problem with Ebates. I love them. but then again, I never check in details to see if I got paid for everything.

I have gotten over $250 from Ebates within last 6 months, so I am pretty happy. Just hope they don't fold like everybody else.

I have had *numerous* problems with them. Merchant *insists* they sent the money to Ebates. Ebates claims they never received it. Once took the California Attorney General to get them "enlightened". I don't use them anymore. Let me know if you need the info to file the complaint.

I have had no problems with them either. They automatically sent me a check at the end of each quarter.

All my purchases have posted.

Ebates has always been good for me. I've gotten lots of dough. I used to track it pretty closely, and they were pretty reliable but I sometimes had to prompt them.

Ebates was good for awhile, but I found they went downhill earlier this year. Money disappeared from my account and they would not fix it. I finally gave up and they still own me some money, but I have given up on them. They seemed to be reliable when I was using them alot and then when I slowed down a bit, they got bad, not sure that is related, but perhaps.
