is there a way to sign up under your link as well as the amex 50$ promo? I'm only able to sign up under one promotion I believe.

I did this and added the amex promo after signing up. It added the additional $50 to the initial $10.

However that amount shows up in canadian $ and sees to be good for use in Toronto only.

I signed up using the link in the conga and then added the promo code from Amex and Linked my Amex card. I think the $50 is only good for Toronto and Vancouver. I'm going to NYC next month and I will report back if the credit works there. Planning to use it regardless because its easier than waiting for the hotel to get you a black car.
