Just try surviving a night on the suburbs of Moscow. That's wild enough.
Люберцы (Lyubertsy), just outside Moscow's MKAD on the M5 heading east. Is scary as Baghdad on a peaceful day!

I've been to Krasnoyarsk on business but can't really recommend it for tourism.

the river's nice there though. And it's got the biggest rugby stadium in Russia!

Tyumen is pleasant in summer & autumn.

I've been told to go to Tomsk. the Russians who told me said that it's a university city with lots of girls.
