Travels during visa application

Hi,

I am applying for an aim-tourist visa.

I have two passports, I wonder if I submit one for the Russia visa and travel with the other one during the application process.

Also, is the visa-issued passport returned by post or have to collect it in person?

Thanks!

Sorry but I don't know what an ''aim'' visa is.

There is no problem with using one passport for travelling while the other is being used to get a visa. That is the very reason why people get two passports.

The passport is sent by signed for post - what used to be called recorded delivery.
