Blacklane Taipei
Seeing as there's no Uber in Taipei for the moment, I've booked return airport transfers with Blacklane.
Does anyone have any experience with the service there?

Have never heard of Blacklane until now. I know of people using this service, although I have no first-hand experience with it: http://24tms.vlimo.com.tw/AccountDat..._Article0.aspx

Will be luck of the draw. Depends on which private car driver accepts the offered job from Blacklane. Blacklane itself operates nothing, they are just subbing out rides - Uber without the instant online stuff in effect.

Uber recently stopped operating in Taipei. You will get the following message if you try to use the app, "Uber no longer available. We look forward to Serving Taiwan Again."
As I mentioned up thread I have no experience with Blacklane in Taipei, but it's been very good in PVG and PEK. I used it last week in Doha and was disappointed.

The airport MRT line has opened since, and you can now take a train into the city and back, which is another option you might want to consider. Details here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eva-a...own-check.html
