Kosher restaurant in Montreal suitable for colleagues and clients?

Any recommendations? Needs to be reliable and non-Heimische..... I don't want the owner coming over to our table and asking where we're from and what jobs we do.

When we went to Montreal, I checked out Chowhound's kosher boards to get some recommendations. We were looking for casual. There are quite a few discussion threads on Kosher Montreal. Here is one from 2009 with 45 responses, that should give you a good start. If you scroll down to the bottom, Chowhound usually suggests additional threads on the same subject, so from that page, you will find more as well.

IIRC, there is one steakhouse and one Japanese restaurant that were deemed impressive enough to entertain even guests who don't eat kosher.

The Va'ad has an up-to-date website with lists of restaurants but their lists don't include reviews. It can help if you want to check what hashgacha is used at a certain establishment.

Many thanks, x2y! Looks like we'll go with Morty's. But a bit upset to hear that El Morocco isn't kosher any more..

Yes, we went to Morty's and I would recommend it for a client entertaining dinner - I'd say 4* on the decor and better on the food.
