not enough info, hope that BA-J comes back and fills us in. BJ did you have a rev tkt all along in Biz? or were you upgraded? if UPed did you reconfirm a KSML after you were UPed, I assume the UP if UPed was > 24 hrs before the flight

It was an award ticket in J. Booked in mid December. The morning before travel (~14 hours before scheduled departure) the reservation showed the KSML request. I guess its possible UA's crappy IT lost it though.

Some updates from my travels in the past 2 weeks:
LH J FRA-PRG: no KSML offered
OS J PRG-VIE: no KSML offered
OS J VIE-BUD: no KSML offered
LO J BUD-WAW: Stogel's - soy chocolate pudding, tuna cocktail, minced turkey, potato salad. It was pretty lame. Still notable though that they served a KSML when why previous 3 similar length segments did not.
LO J WAW-ORD: Stogel's again. Lunch was a salmon main with vegetables. Not seeming to remember what else there was. The pre-arrival snack was the exact same thing I got on the BUD-WAW segment.
UA F ORD-LGA: no KSML offered.

Delta offers kosher meals on domestic flights in F
I got a borenstein meal flying from jfk to mia. It was actually pretty good - chicken breast, string beans and rice, pearled couscous salad, pita, and cake. Served on china. I wish aa would follow suit.

Kosher on DY - Norwegian Airlines
Hey there,
Just wanted to let you know I was on DY (Norwegian) for JFK-CPH-TLV yesterday.
Ex-JFK I got two excellent pre-ordered kosher meals under OU Hashgacha by "Weiss", was really pleasantly surprised.
No meals on CPH-TLV as it's low-cost and for sale only.
OT - Altogether Norwegian was really great, very quick connection in CPH, great service, free inflight wifi on both legs and incredible legroom and IFE on the 787, why anyone would pay double the price to fly LY is beyond me at this point...

Finnair Premium economy Kosher meal
HEL-BKK-HEL
probably one of the worst kosher meals I have had in a long time,
HEL-BKK i was serve twice tuna fish salad (which it has no flavor) and some items in the meal were uneatable
BKK-HEL: a Thai kosher breakfast and lunch
in general avoid the kosher meal from Finnair, bring your own meal

LY C also has real airline service like in F. And what's so special about Hermolis BA F meals? Also in general, what's so special about Hermolis that people keep raving about? I don't think I've had ever, as I'm generally on CO (and am perfectly happy with their BF meal)...

KSML on Emirates
I recently flew C on Emirates from Larnaca to Malta. Apart from the general service which was faultless, this is the first time ever that I have been offered a choice of sealed kosher meals. The food was from Thailand and was not great but certainly edible. There is a good Kosher Chabad meaty restaurant in St Julian's, Malta

Hermolis
Anything from Hermolis is better than almost anything Kosher anywhere else, and the London Kedassia hechsher is also excellent. The only quality exception is LH First meals out of FRA.

All the food served on LY has a hechsher from someone somewhere. The time limits apply to "Mehadrin" meals and I understood that the Mehadrin meals need 24 hours pre-order time like most airlines. I think everything on LY out of JFK and EWR is Mehadrin/Glatt, but as most US kosher meals are not edible, the hechsher is irrelevant!
