I had the same in Wroclaw a few weeks ago. I am gold elite, but AFAIK you get the best room also as a base memeber. Anyways I booked a suite which the advertise to have 90mē on their website. I was given a room that maybe had 50mē. Yes it was a suite, but not anything like the one with 90mē.
I went back down and asked for a better room. It took 10 minutes, but I got what I booked finally.
Reminds me of how I had to fight for my booked "suite" at a Chinese hotel...
My dad took advantage of the Orange Silver offer at the same time as I did in January. and his Welcome package arrived today! the 12th of September!!!! and his card still only shows valid till 01 2010:S:P he doesn't stay a lot in Carlson hotels but still:P LOL thats good customer service
One customer service agent insinuated that the only real benefit I had was bonus points!
The only real benefit I have had with my Goldpointsplus elite status this year has been the benefit of not staying at a Radisson hotel: free internet access+tea/coffee/hot chocolate at Radisson hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa even when not staying at the hotels.

Re-qualification in Feb
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of holding on to status with Radisson during their Feb year end?
I'm in my first year of status with them and haven't stayed 30 nights (but have a healthy enough night count) in their hotels due to other hotel chains offering more corporate friendly rates.
Sympathy in these times or busted down to silver? place your bets now...

Well, if John Kennedy doesn't provide the answer and assure Gold, history will assure that it's Silver for those who don't even stay enough at the hotels to qualify for Silver.
