Travelclub Gold can now use "First Class Island" in ZRH

In my e-news for Gold members I found out that (it seems as of today) Gold members can use the First Class Island in ZRH. The Travelclub Gold counters will therefore no longer be available.

For once a change I like!

For the Gold members yes, is this the start of reduced "elite" status for Silver members ???

No I don t think so. Don t worry. Maybe since they have to reduce cost, they so "upgraded" the TC Gold member by closing the desk....

I would not say so, IMHO it does not reduce the status of silver members. After all you still have to fly double the amount to become Gold, thus it really makes sense to offer some additional perks to Gold members. At the moment there are not too many differences between Gold and Silver. Especially on the Ego side http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
