3) It tells them when (historically) to expect an SUO if it is ever going to arrive;
4) It gives a basis for comparison against a reprice of fare.

If you upgrade the first leg of a AAA - DOH - BBB itin, can you access the lounge in DOH as well, or only at AAA? The T&Cs seem to point to the latter, but I wonder if anyone has tried and what the result was?

Because you are not departing LHR in J then you have no lounge access.
If you have status with another Oneworld member (OWSapphire or OWEmerald) then look at https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-...eaccess/lhr/-1 to see which lounge are available to you. It is a good ide to look at the OW lounge page for any airport because sometimes there are better lounges than the one QR have chosen.

Because you are not departing LHR in J then you have no lounge access.

Will have a think - seems like just too much to be worth it, given it's a daytime flight.
