Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!

interestingly the inaugural flight to/from DUB on 12 Jun is rostered to be a 359 despite the regular service being operated by a Dreamliner. I presumed the idea being to show off the very latest aircraft,

I wonder would they put the new Q-Suite bird on that flight instead or would it be massively too large? I am presuming 'his excellency' will be aboard.

What Q-Suite bird? Currently there's no Q-Suite bird and the first one will apparently be A7-BED, i.e. a 777-300ER.

EY have carved a market share and good returns thru DUB and QR want a slice...

The first factory fresh 77W with the Qsuites is undergoing final assembly. Should be delivered in August or late July assuming no seat issues.

@N1Rotate sorry if the question is dull, but I am confused because of the first flight being rumoured to fly to LHR.

Are these new deliveries going feature first class?

I doubt that. AFAIK no QR 777 has a first class cabin. QR only rebrands it as first on s/h.

Unfortunately, it seems that the QR 777 under assembly is a cargo jet according to publicly available online unofficial production lists.

BKKA380 It is possible that the start of the first regular scheduled flight is 17 June but perhaps there is a 'shakedown' flight before that with all the QR bigwigs.

As with everything QR there is no really reliable information available.

Am I right in thinking that rows 3 and 5 E and F would be the seats that they advertise that can open up into 4 for a family? And is it both that have the potential for a double bed?
