QR CDG lounge opened

QR CDG lounge opened
Opened last week, level 11, only for passengers of business and first classes. The environment and entry policy are similar to that of LHR.

Asked one of the stuff, replied that at moment all of the Status holders on economy class can only entry the old one, not sure if there would be any change in the future, but it seems not possible, according to the similar situation of LHR.

CDG will follow the same rules as LHR, and the soon to be opened BKK Lounge too.

The QR Lounges will solely be for Premium Passengers, and not status cardholders.

Mr_Ed the access rules for the DXB lounge have just changed so they are basically the same as LHR. I say basically because the 'fine print' for the DXB lounge is not yet known.

The DXB lounge will have to seriously up its' game if it is now just for biz and first only.

The opening has surprised me, as I didn't think it was planned until the New Year. However, it may well be in a Soft Launch phase, so I'd expect photos and a Media Party in January at some stage.

...on our way to DXB yesterday, flew AA ORD-CDG, connecting to QR CDG-DOH-DXB. Pretty much had the lounge to ourselves. Didnt find anything too exciting about the place. But, this is CDG terminal 2 we are talking about. The worst airport in the world.
