What sort of meals can I expect when flying Long-Haul Business?
The Business Class meals served are of a far higher quality than those served by most other airlines.
This thread contains photos of actual Menus and/or Wine Lists as well as photos of the food and discussion about Business Class food.
What is the menu for my flight?
Look at the index below and see if there is a recent menu for your flight.
There is no menu for my flight. What do I do?
If you are unable to find a menu relevant to your flight, find a QR flight which departs at a similar time to yours, and of a similar length.
Can I rely upon these menus being available when I fly?
No for a number of reasons
1 QR change their menus on a monthly basis, so you may be in luck and find the specific options for your flight.
2 Where there is more than one flight a day to a destination the menu varies according to the time of day. Who wants breakfast on an evening flight?
3 Menus may vary from destination to destination due to flight time, number of meals served, local culture etc.

Last week I flew two connecting sectors, both flights sat in the back row of business. On the first flight they took my order last and at first I was told they had run out of my first choice. But then the FA went and asked one of her colleagues and managed to find one (I think each has a quota, so if one uses up theirs another may not have). On the second flight my order was taken first so no problem there.

Sorry, had my mobile locked up in the bin, no menu to show but was breakfast and some light options.
I had "freshly pressed orange juice" really freshly pressed???? I doubt it.
Fresh fruits, was excellent
Arab breakfast, found this to be top.
Did not fancy any more food before landing 14.00.
BRU arrivals was sad after the attacks.
No taxis in sight, lots of people waiting for taxi.
Normal cars not allowed to pick up people at arrivals.
I arranged friends pick-up, I called them when I got my luggage asking them to meet me at P2, they found a parking spot at Level 6, it was a pain to get into an elevator, way too many people trying to get in/out one of the 3 elevators, then had to pay 3.5 Euro for entering leaving the parking lot for some 15 minutes, it's a shame Brussels Airport

new White wines on the BKK-DOH QR837 yesterday
The vouvray is from one of the best producer in the region. Great entry to the wine list. Next leg DOH CDG was still the usual wine list.

Quick question about the Special Meals -- how do they work? Assuming I order one in advance, is that the only option you will get, or will you be able to select something from the main menu as well?

I don't have personal experience but you will(should) be able to order from the menu too, but why order a special meal then? And yes it will also be dine on demand.

Having said this if you fly frequently then those special meals rapidly become boring and repetitive. In those situations it is useful to be able to choose other dishes from the main menu provided they meet the restrictions of the special meal.
In J cabin crew usually, but not always, ask if you would like items from the main menu.
Special meals are compatible with Dine on demand
