Look at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ambassadors.php for an explanation and a list of ambassadors for each forum.
"Flyertalk Forum Ambassadors
Ambassadors are members of the FT community who love FlyerTalk and have a connection with the brand for which they are Ambassadors. They show eagerness to help where they can. They are consistently active, possess an excellent understanding of the FlyerTalk community and tools available to members, enjoy a good reputation within their particular forums, and encourage interaction among new members by reaching out to first time visitors, posters, and anyone with questions.
All Ambassadors are volunteers. Forums with Ambassadors will display their handles on the right hand top corner of the site.
If you would like more information on the Ambassador program, or would like to apply to become an Ambassador, please send an email to [email protected]"

Haha!
I took a view that with the QR Forum becoming more and more popular, and with more people moving towards QR from other OW Airlines, now might be a good time to pay back to FT, for the advice and help I have been offered.
Im delighted to be the FT Ambassador to the QR Forum, and to continuing the good work the Mods have done so far to ensure this forum has remained active.

But to give yourself a more rounded view of QR, I urge you to take your next trip in economy-class
