Had Cultural Explorations acknowledged (VIE) but not he Adventurous Getaway (HKT) flown early July. Deadline 31st august, wonder iff QR will confirm?
Flying QR next week to BRU, but home base, thus no recognition for Culinary Journeys, thus plan trip to CPH late November.
Back to BKK half October for the Metropolitan Excursion for the 3rd travel badge.
Will hold gold by then, curious for plat.
Flying VIE to DOH in Y got the welcome speech from purser, no welcome speech in J for DOH-HKT, not that I care really
And the B787 in Y is horrible.

Booked ticket to BRU before I knew of the globetrotter campaign, otherwise would have flown to MUC, problem solved but not, plan additional late November trio to CPH

at first I was confused by the one tier upgrade offer, now I get it and this is huge IMO
if you can attain Gold + get the 4 badges, you are Platinum + you get the oneworld Emerald card too
personally I think this is the true prize, not really the 100k points
then QR makes it reasonably easy to maintain your status

Done VIE on 21 Aug and HAN on 27 Aug
Waiting for email acknowledgement for my first two badges - none has arrived so far.
Will do JFK and SGN in Oct for the last two badges
Got gold status right before my DOH-HAN flight (flying from CDG to Doha and reached gold after that flight). I didn't quite realize it at time. I was in Y and wondering why did the flight attendant know my name, greet me and ask just me for the preferred meal before start serving. Now I know

I've done CAI and LCA so far. Will be doing BRU next week and hopefully DXB in October! It's a pretty smart promotion. I wasn't planning to go to either CAI or LCA, but it happened because of the promotion and I am so very glad that I traveled to both cities.
I am aiming at Platinum status and an award ticket in J on IKA-EZE/GRU-IKA for next june! I really hope that there won't be a devaluation.

I visited the QR office today, a rather 2-star experience
after taking a ticket, 6 counter people sat and ignored me for 10 minutes despite there being no other customers in the office?
nobody had ever heard of the Globetrotter program
after a short discussion they rang Privilege HQ to confirm I have the first two badges and the tickets I was buying cover the final two badges and that I would be GOLD before 2016 began.
Platinum is not easy to outright earn, lots of flights and fairly significant spending

I plan to book a trip to CPH today for late November, price went down 200 Euro this Monday, just would like to see bonus for two badges in my mileage account today My 3rd badge will be my return flight to BKK next month.
dehetoxic, you hold platinum already, what you expect from this campaign?
Just the 100k miles or also one more year of platinum?
I switched from flying EY to QR this year and expect to reach 180K miles and platinum, just reached gold recently. Maintaining gold will be hard enough, not flying that much (usually 2x BKK-Europe/year in J).

Just booked my flights in October to earn the last two...
2x Europe-BKK in J is almost enough to renew (for example BKK-FRA-BKK is 120 QPoints in the lowest J booking class). It shouldn't be hard to find 35 QPoints somewhere?

I got separate e-mails at the same time for the two badges - in mid-July. Flights were in June, and on the same PNR.

QR PC wake up !
Edit : I've just got the bonus Qmiles this morning !
