The reconfigured A332 comes in two versions, one is distinguishable by the 4th row being behind the galley and doesn't use the B/E Diamond seats. The second reconfigured A332 version uses the B/E Diamond seats and is not distinguishable from the seat map. For updated info, refer to the wiki on this thread.

However an improved leg room is always welcomed!
An FA on my flight was proud and announced me "these are the same seats as in 787". Hmm, no they are not but with slight improvements as descriped earlier and better leg room those seats were very good.

From my pictures, the 777 are not fully flat ie. parallel to the floor. These seats should be as there is a fixed ottoman.

Btw what happened to the 330?

I have a question.
Where can I find the newly refurbished A332 seat map?

After the previous debate surely you realise the QR 777 seat you used & wasn't flat was the exception, not the rule as experienced by most of us who have flown J on the QR 777?

About 01.05 into the video.

I believe the 777-LR is the same.

I believe the 777-LR is the same.
But it was 2 out of 2 flights one is a LR and one is a W
That clip is computer rendering

I am sure originally it was designed to be full flat but after use the leg rest part becomes dropey which is similar to QF. So at the moment the true guarantee flat seats are the 788 and these reconfig 320

I was recently on A7-ACF KUL-DOH. I have been following this thread closely, so imagine my surprise when I boarded and saw that wood grain center console!

Overall, the seat is a vast improvement over the old A330 seats. There's way more leg area (similar to 777s)

However, I am not a big fan of the new hand held touch screen device that replaced the old normal remote. It hung on me once, and not very sensitive...and sometimes overly sensitive!

Yes, the seat is not 180 flat like 787s but close enough for me.

Legroom! Notice the diff from 777s- its 'open space' below rather than a storage space

Freddo, thank you very much for the pictures. The seats look really nice. Apart from this the A320 refurbishment is now completed. 9 aircrafts have been refurbished and these are:

A7-AHP
A7-AHQ
A7-AHR
A7-AHS
A7-AHT
A7-AHU
A7-AHW
A7-AHX
A7-AHY

Now the question is: Will QR upgrade more A320s or just the 9 as mentioned in their announcement?

How are J class seats in A-333 compared to A-332 & B- 787?

Our round trip flights from Doha to DPS -in October- which were just a few days showing on the promised 787 in the QR website are now back to a 333 .

We have following question for these 10 hr flights if anyone here can compare :Are the J class seats on the 333 similar to the newstyle bussiness class seats of the 332 or more similar to the old style 332 or to the 787 ?

I have read all 332 are getting new style buss. class but how does this compare to the quality of the 333 which shows as "165 degree angle lie flat" on seatguru ?

We keep hoping that QR will change again to 787 for DOH-DPS as they have been putting out on the PR channels ...

I doubt there's any way to do that except if someone on here has access to their ac-plans.. but no idea how far back they actually assign specific aircraft.
So generally: Hope for the best (i.e.: a reswap to a better airplane ) Last minute swaps have been known to occur..

Anyway: best of luck!
