The reconfigured A332 comes in two versions, one is distinguishable by the 4th row being behind the galley and doesn't use the B/E Diamond seats. The second reconfigured A332 version uses the B/E Diamond seats and is not distinguishable from the seat map. For updated info, refer to the wiki on this thread.

Is there a way to know which of their 320 aircrafts have already been retrofitted?

I'm flying from FCO to DOH on 17 April and is thrilled about being on a 320 for 5.5 hours.

Pandalama,

A7-AHR
A7-AHS
A7-AHT
A7-AHU
A7-AHW
A7-AHX
A7-AHY (being outfitted)

What you can do is check the seat map for your flight in economy. If it shows 28 rows only then it is the new configuration.

Not sure how many of the A330s are already done but the latest out of the refit program over at SIN was A7-AEC and next in line is A7-AEO who just landed a couple of minutes ago.

Calcjr23,

As per reports of other users the A333 that have returned from Singapore were not re-configured.

So far the following A330-200s have been reconfigured:

A7-ACA (formerly 3-class)
A7-ACD
A7-ACF (formerly 3-class)

and A7-ACH is now gone for reconfiguration.

I would think A7-ACB, ACC, ACE would be next as they are the remaining 3-class A332.

What is a reconfigured 332?
Does it have proper flat beds or still slanting beds?

Just flew on one of the refurbished A332. Seats were the same as earlier (atleast the same as in A333) but leg room was improved dramatically. Business had two cabins, 3 and 1 rows. The bed was still less than 180 degrees but was very comfortable to sleep. Way better than old config in A333.

Anselmi,

Its the same seat model but still improved, like the location of the power sockets, new IFE with touch screen controller, re-designed arm rests, improved divider etc...

I remember a quote from AAB, saying the A330 would get the same 787 style business seats...

However an improved leg room is always welcomed!
