Just perhaps they want to get it completely right before testing it on the paying customers ?
But then again, what would I know - my office is embarking on a totally electronic system for record keeping (no paper) and I think its crap, faulty, inefficient, time consuming, a liability, -- and the people who decided to install it have moved on.

I have been effected by this over the last three or so weeks.
They have been running manual check-in for a while and I have been caught twice in Cairns and once in Brisbane. In addition done of my SC's or points have come through on any Jetstar flights in the last three weeks - hence I am chasing them up manually.
Wife in QP today to check-in for JQ flight. Staff quite perplexed ... not sure how to get in to "the new system" took about 10mins and two staff members to get sorted.
Do QF train their ground staff? (Remembering the first time I presented an OLCI BP and having to explain Gate Staff what it was)
