I Really Don't Like Qantas

I do not normally fly Domestic in OZ (but will be in whY from Jan 09 onwards ) and have never been much of a fan of the lack of seating allocation (though I can see the arguments in its favour).

My biggest gripe recently has been my preallocated seat - I have a Aisle preference in my AA profile (OWE) and on my recent 8 flight status run was preallocated (before OLCI) a window seat for I think 7 of the 8 flights...

To the OP as you will be preallocated a seat at 24 hours could you just check www.checkmytrip.com and see where you have been allocated?

I do not believe C/M/T shows ANY seating allocation for QF domestic flight at this present time.

It's better to OLCI using www.qantas.com/yourbooking 24 hours beforehand and see what allacation is available.

.. which is fine if OLCI is working, but given it's not (again... see post #13 above) for mrs. tt7's flight tomorrow morning, it's not much use.....

..... though in the event, she's ended up with 7D, which is fine. It would however be nice if OLCI actually worked consistently.
