What date are you looking at - or what rows can you see in your booking?

Seat Guru states 3 versions of this aircraft.
Is QF108 version the link above?
Its the only version with a "row 15".
(2 versions have no row 15, AFAICT)
Or? Thanks!

My fiance and I are flying economy on QF 107 NYC > Sydney on the 747-400. We both want to have window seats, preferably with one seat directly behind the other. Any thoughts on which seats we should select?

Welcome to Flyertalk ewmay19.

I think you mean the 108 in that direction?

Wow. Not even married and already you don't want to sit together?

Why not try to go for one of the few sets of 2 seats like rows 70, 71 or 72?

Sorry I've not exactly answered your question.

Would people recommend the upper deck Y (34) above the main cabin Y?

Yes - it's somewhat quieter than down below.

Are there really any best seats on a QF 763 in J? I don't hold enough status so I can forget row 1.

It's been years since I've flown a QF 763 in J (damn 73H's) so haven't caught up with what's decent on the 763.

Obviously the Dreamtime config is nicer but assuming I get a Millenium seat, is row 4 any worse than the others (I can't pick from anything in front of that).

IME it's all much of a muchness. I'd avoid row 1 personally. If you get international config then the A seat is nice as it's a single seat ^

Agree that there's not much in it seating/amenity-wise, but service starts from the front, so if it's a short flight, or a long time between drinks, that's where you want to be.

at 80 hours prior to departure the seat map will open up with whatever's left... your opportunity to move forward.

I have no status and similarly blocked for row 1-4 before the 80 hours. I often move to row one at that stage. Row 1 is more private and gets served first.

Thanks for the tips, particularly the T-80 - I hadn't thought of that.

What's the issue with row 1? Seemingly, subject to feedback on that point, it appears, go as far forward as possible.

Here's praying for a Dreamtime config - and hope to snag an 'A' seat!

I am flying QF002 to Sydney in about a weeks time in economy class. I have the opportunity to purchase a seat on the upper deck.
Would it be better to wait and hope that the flight is not full and get the seat next to me is free on the lower deck? or purchase the seat on the upper deck now that it has opened up?

Regards,

TAZ MAN

How are the flight loadings? Showing any X, Q, O?

I'd take upper deck window any day.

Good PE seat on A380?

Hi,
I seem to have a choice of 25D (aisle-centre) or exit row/window 24K (for some $$ I think). Sydney>HKG. All advice most welcome.
Thanks

ON QF 127 tomorrow, PE A380, seats 28A+28B now look free too. Hmm, now have aisle 25D, or exit 24K
Advice please.
Cheers
