Wheelchair Assistance at JFK
Hi Folks - (this is posted in the AA forum as well)
I'm looking to connect from a QF flight from LAX arriving at JFK terminal 7 to a AA Eagle puddle jumper departing from JFK terminal 8. I've requested disability assistance from AA and was wondering if anyone has had experience (good/bad) with AA managing their connection between these two terminals? I had to do this previously without assistance and recall that you had to exit security from term 7, take a train to term 8, and then clear security again. Took me about 30 minutes. Do you think that with the disability assistance, I could make this connection in 1 hour? |
I have used AA wheelchair assist before when travelling with my grandmother.
They were waiting at the door of the plane. They were very friendly, got us through all security and customs ++fast. Gave them a big tip, after my normal USA airport experiences it's great to see one part that is actually working well. |
