Yep the FF section of qantas.com.au is down at the moment

May get up in the middle of the night to check the changes and see if they are on the website

Changes starting to be reflected on the website

Classic Awards - As they are now, hard to get and no change to number of miles needed to redeem, by the loos of it

Any Seat Awards - You can now use points or Points Plus Pay to book any available seat on any Qantas flight with a QF flight number with Qantas Any Seat Awards.

Can't see how many miles are needed for an Any Seat Award yet!

Yep tell me about it

At least the classic awards are staying but for how long do you think, I think an enhancement will come soon removing classic awards due to the "overwhelming popularity of the new Any Seat awards"

SQ will get my AMEX points and my future custom

This is the most cynical exercise I have ever seen by Qantas. It will be the subject of ridicule in tomorrow's media no doubt.

If this is the best Qantas can do then I am pleased I held my AMEX points in reserve. I will now transfer them to SQ where they buy significantly more. Goodbye Qantas!

"Clear private data cache" fixed that one.

I don't suppose it helped that I was already logged in during the changeover!

Bet they changed a .js file or something...
