I have 23,000 miles that i know will never use (i am in america and dont plan on being in australia anytime soon). They expire in 2007, and i know there are programs you can use your points for. Anyone have any suggestions?

You have plenty of time before they expire. Maybe you will have more miles by then?

Strange coincidence...
...I have a US$100 AA travel voucher that expires in December 2005, which would benefit someone in the US greatly.
...I also collect QANTAS FF points.
I don't mind PMs...

Mr Moose, haven't I seen you before.
Ok, one suggestion, is to fly an AA flight that allows you to credit points to your QF account, so this probably won't be available on the el cheapo fare but is another way to keep the account active.
One suggestion is just book an AA award flight somewhere because sure as, Qantas are just going to devalue them again in another 4 years or so.

you guys are funny. I thought if i used them on american i only get like half the miles to use, which isnt even a round trip right? Typically, how much is 23,000 miles worth? I am willing to trade or sell them for sure. Plus, i just like you guys.
ps i dont think i will be in australia anytime soon. I wish though.

Redeem an award on AA for a 2000 mile round trip (ie up to 1000 miles each way) for 20,000 points as og says. After 25th May you can redeem one-way flights so check the redemption rates on the QF web site for pre and post May 25th.
