Visit J lounge after F lounge at SYD

OWE flying CX. Can I actually visit QF J lounge at SYD after visiting QF F ?

I wouldn't be having the lounge invitation as QF F lounge agent would have kept it already.

Your status should be on your Boarding Pass which will let you in.

Is there any reason for the invitation card if status is on the BP?

Helps people know what lounge they can use? Maybe a little map on the back?

I'm very sorry but does it mean I do need to invitation for any SYD International lounge or I do not need the invitation?

You don't need the invitation. Your BP is your evidence of eligibility to use the lounge.

Yes, but I'm curious why would you want to? :P

Seriously though: definitely do-able, I have done so myself a few times (but just to get some photos or something). Never any drama going between them.

No problem. I have done this before when there were no seats available in the F lounge (J lounge was busy but at least had some seats available).

Certainly a couple of years ago as a WP flying CX, the QF Lounge wanted the invite - as at least then, CX wanted the invite in order to pay. Not sure if this has changed.

We will have a group of four travelling soon, all of us has J lounge access and one of us has never been to the SYD F lounge. Since I could only guest one, we will split into two groups and would prefer if we could join together later at J lounge.

I guess I'll try to get into the lounge using just boarding pass this Sunday to give it a test.

It probably has because I've flown thru syd and hkg multiple times in the past year on AA and QF and have never received or been asked a lounge invite. Just boarding pass and sometimes FFP card.

Only ever showed my boarding pass.

In regards to passes I've experienced the Immigration Fast Pass staff to refuse entry if you didn't have your pass. Your First Class boarding pass wasn't enough. I was told I had to go to the huge regular line with hundreds in it instead of going through Fast Pass with 2 people in front of me. I refused and said my boarding pass shows I am eligible to be here. She let me through eventually. Five steps after I left her I found the pass and showed her and she still wanted it. So make sure you get that pass in Sydney.

I'm OWE and went into the QF F lounge this week as a CX J class passenger and didn't even show the lounge pass CX gave me - the QF staff just scanned my boarding pass.

Great. CX DM allows to bring in 2 guest when flying CX, does QF lounge aware of that? I once had a little argument with check in agent not putting guest + 2 on my lounge pass and insist him of doing so.
