14th Annual AGM + Catering Facility Tour (Confirmed): BNE QP Sat 5 March 2016
Since we've had a bit of chatter about the 2016 meeting on the 2015 thread (given the sale finishing tonight - travel from 02 Feb 16 to 27 Apr 16, but if VA can extend their current sale maybe QF can as well) and my new business is as set up as it can be this week, I thought I'd finally make a post about this (thanks to serfty for following me up). I have a call into my QF contact to see if the catering tour can be arranged.

Where: BNE Domestic QP, in the Quiet Corner (turn left after service desk, walk straight past barrista and F&B area, turn right and we're in the back corner)
When: Saturday, 5 March 2016

Now in order to correctly constitute a meeting notice, here are the minutes of the last meeting:

Breaking news: There is the offer by Qantas of a Catering Facility Tour, thus there will be no Breakfast Creek Hotel lunch this year. Somehow I can't see too many attendees shedding a tear . Numbers are limited (max number 40). The QCatering facility is nearby to BNE Airport, so hopefully local members who are driving there won't mind swinging past the airport and picking up (and then dropping back) those members who are flying in for the occasion.
Address: 9 Ghania Street, Brisbane Airport (see map here: https://www.google.com.au/maps/place...3bc26a22b58fc9). Location is between the International & Domestic Terminals (off Airport Drive & Chloris Street). Please Note: Gahnia is a One Way street.

Silver for me, pending confirmation I can shift a weekend of work. I loved last year.

Yes yes yes! Please sign me up as confirmed I will come. I booked for Feb 20 ages back as the "usual weekend" but that's fine the 5th I will make with bells on!! Last year was so fantastic I so will be there!!!!
