Jetstar - Jetstar transfer in DPS
G'day everyone.
I'm looking at booking a Jetstar itinerary from ADL to SIN, and the cheapest option (and actually the evening departure that I want) transits in DPS.
I know the terminal there is fairly new and I just wanted to see if anyone knew if it handles international to international transfers. The connection time is only 1 hour and 20 minutes, so I'm a little apprehensive, and I'd certainly rather not do the VOA, exit the arrivals, re-enter the departures area and pay the airport tax.
Jetstar is certainly willing to sell the ticket on the same itinerary, and I'm just curious if anyone knows whether this will be doable and how.
Thanks!

My brother did this exact itinerary in January. Was given both BP's upon checkin at ADL, and advised not to exit immigration and proceed to transfer desk. Crew onboard were surprised they didn't want an arrivals card, and surprised they were transferring. However, no dramas, upon arrival in DPS they were met and escorted via security to departures (airside). Worked very smoothly. Luggage also transferred.

As mentioned the new airport provides for airside int'l transits quite smoothly (maybe better than for arrivals ). It is quite a nice airport just not complete yet even now. Your primary risk is volcano closing DPS once again but presumably JQ would reroute you onto another routing to SIN.
