A330 upgrade - what flights?

What flights are now using the upgraded A330? Any advice.

Check seat maps on Expert Flyer or KVS prior to booking? That is always subject to change of course.

You may wish to look here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qanta...-domestic.html

Or here on AFF: http://www.australianfrequentflyer.c...lay-53445.html

Have a look at this thread, which has some updates on which aircraft are completed.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qanta...mestic-12.html

You can then track which flights the aircraft in question have been operating on http://www.theqantassource.com/qijettracker.html

I'm hoping to get one on an upcoming SYD-PER, but still showing the old config on the seat map. One can always live in hope of an equipment change...

It seems to be difficult to predict - QF originally said they we going to focus on penetration into the SIN market internationally but they have been inconsistent based on The Qantas Source.

My BNE-SIN flights were originally showing as BS but some of the trips switched back to Mk I a few weeks after booking. Fingers crossed for an equipment swap - hey ho.

My SYD-BKK in late 2015 originally showed the old config - then it changed to the new config - for a few flights (only) in the week. I'm sceptical that the new config will stick - but really hoping that it does.

I was traveling SYD-SIN just two months ago and it showed as the new config for ages, then changed back in the last minute. And as much as I usually like Qantas, I must admit the product on this old rattler was dreadful. Mind you, lovely staff but it really needs those new interiors badly. Can't wait until they're all done and you don't have to endure the 'gamble' anymore!
