QF 747-400 & 767-300 seat plans 1992/3
Can anyone help me answer a question I have from my travels back in the early '90s?
I have 2 boarding passes from flights BKK-HKG (QF78) and HKG-BKK (QF77) that show seat numbers 75J & 74B.
I always thought both flights were on 767-300s but I can’t believe they ever had that many rows.
Were they 747-400s?
Can anyone put my mind at rest?

Back then might also have been 743's or maybe even 747's (as opposed to 744's).

Your mind is still not at rest two years later?

Oh the days of being able to smoke at the back. I remember them well. Clothing would stink by the time the flight was over.

Worse still was being in a non smoking seat (on specific request) - only to discover that the smoking zone started one row behind. Sigh. Stink. Misery.

Interesting that there were more seats in the F section of the 747-438 than there are now in the same section in J.
